Announcement …. “‘Tis The Season … “

ON A LIGHTER NOTE

I’m going to be away from this spot, “It Is What It Is“, for a few days. I won’t have full access to a PC or laptop.

I still have the capacity to keep an eye on what happens in the blogosphere while I’m away.

I’m not able to just disconnect, particularly with what is going on in our world at this time.

There are so many problems, issues, conflicts, injustices, bigotry, destruction, killing, wars ….. We need to stay informed and educated about “happenings“.

I will leave you today with a message.

As noted above, we won’t find peace until we extend our circle of compassion to all living things, as Mr. Sweitzer noted.

Good morning.

A little humor to start the day.

These have been trying days and continue to be. Worldwide events are affecting all of us in so many different and negative ways.

There seems to be no end in sight.

Our batteries are running out of charge, our senses are getting dull,  our hard drives are getting full.

A bit of distraction for a few minutes may help.

This is a video that my oldest grand-daughter, Angelika, showed me last night.

~First look trailer for Despicable Me spin-off sees Kevin, Stuart and Bob head for NYC~

The crazy yellow organisms are on the hunt for a new evil boss to serve

The first trailer for Despicable Me spin-off Minions has been released, showing the little yellow organisms setting off on a mission to find their next villainous boss.
Stuart, Kevin and Bob star in the entertaining new film as they head to New York in search of a dastardly master to serve in 1968, 42 years B.G (before Gru).

Dracula, Napoleon, an Egyptian pharaoh and even a T-Rex all prove disappointing as while finding a master is easy, “keeping a master is tricky”.

“Minions have been on this planet for longer than we have, they go by many names – Dave, Carl, Norbert,” the voiceover says. “They all share the same goal – to serve the most despicable master around.

“Without a master they had no purpose, they became aimless and depressed. If this went on much longer, they would surely perish.”

But, as the official synopsis reveals, minion Kevin has a plan and, alongside teenage rebel Stuart and lovable little Rob, he ventures out into the world to find a new evil boss.

“The trio embarks upon a thrilling journey that ultimately leads them to their next potential master, Scarlet Overkill, the world’s first ever female super-villain,” it reads.

“They travel from frigid Antarctica to 1960’s New York City, ending in mod London, where they must face their biggest challenge to date: saving all of Minionkind…from annihilation.”
