REMEMBER WHEN?

Starbucks unveiled its new holiday design – a red cup with the green Starbucks logo – and sparked significant controversy due to its lack of Christmas symbols like reindeer and snowflakes.

Starbucks defended the blank holiday design as welcoming of people’s different stories.

Is there an element of an attention span deficit?

I wonder.

At least, a young, extremely talented, young lady, HEATHER ROONEY, grasped the idea happily and worked her wonder art.

EXPECTATIONS KILL

To expect is to believe or think that something will happen or someone will arrive.
To expect is to wish or wait for something that would or would not happen.
To expect is to long for something untouchable, someone out of reach.
To expect is to look for a sightless one.
To expect is invisible.
To expect is hope.

Your expectation is believing that “Us” will happen and

“Our Time” will arrive.
Your expectation is wishing and waiting for an impossible chance.
Your expectation is longing for an unreachable touch, unreachable kiss.
Your expectation is an unreachable love.
Your expectation is looking for a sight of an illusion.
Your expectation is killing.
Your expectation is killing you.

If expectation is belief …. I believe in letting it go.

It will come around back to me if it’s meant to be mine.

If expectation is a wish….
I wish for only the best and happiness to you and those that you love and love you .

If expectation is longing..
I will long for you silently in all my brightest days and all my darkest nights.

If expectation is looking ….
I will be looking forward just to hear you, see you and feel you from my longest distance.

If expectation is an invisibility ….
I wish you to feel me and see me with your heart only,
When the night falls, you’re all alone by yourself and dreaming, that’s the moment of “us” right there, where our hearts lie.

If expectation is hope ….
I hope that we will meet again, no matter how long it would take.
I’ll give you the best hug I have …. the best kiss I can

…. and the best love I make.

Finally, if expectation kills ….
Let’s us drop this expectation, move on our life the way we both are supposed to.
I will live a happy life since I have met …. I have done ….

I have found and I have known what the “Right ” is all about.

LET IT GO

I'm originally from Puerto Rico. I was born in Santurce and raised in Rio Piedras. I currently live in Florida - since 1999. I have a doctorate degree in Medicine; completed in 1976. My Internal Medicine specialty was completed in 1979. Worked for Puerto Rico's health system until 1985. At this time, I'm happily retired after working for the federal government for almost 28yrs. I also worked for the government of Puerto Rico from 1979 through 1985 .... for a total of almost 40 years as a physician. I want to offer any knowledge that I have to anyone "out there" who is interested. My views are liberal in almost every sense. My knowledge is "eclectic" - a bit of everything. Music and reading are my passion. Blogging has also become a very interesting endeavor. Metaphysical topics attract me. I'm interested in news - reporting human issues like injustice, discrimination and abuse - the "wrongly" affected. My intention is to bring this knowledge to an understandable level and to help anyone in need. I'm open to questions and will answer them to the best of my ability. Currently working on an enterprise whose main mission will be to bring peoples of all walks of life together. To be one .... since we ALL are ONE!! The future looks bright and promising!!!
