PICTURES SAY A THOUSAND WORDS … THIS ONE SCREAMS
To understand the sheer scale of the Syrian refugee situation, here’s a picture of a Syrian refugee camp in Jordan.

Racists in Europe are anti-refugee because they think the Syrians will do to the Europeans what the European immigrants did to the Native Americans and Palestinians.
Syrian refugees are choking to death and drowning trying to escape the unspeakable horrors they have faced and yet all some people can say is, “Europe needs to do something and stop the influx of immigrants.”
Yes, it was their choice to take the ride, but not because they were criminals, but because they were chasing hope to live like any human being would.
Have you ever visited a refugee camp?
You sit in an air-conditioned room reading about this on your laptop/phone and say things like, “Wasn’t this an episode of The Wire?”
Try to imagine being one of them.
Locked in the truck, helpless, people dying around you.
We are a decaying society.
We are so hurtful and cause such pain to others.
May God forgive us.
