A MILLION YEARS AGO

It’s no secret.

I’ve found a new love.

Her music moves me.

Her lyrics touch my heart.

I listen to her new CD over and over and over again. In my car, in my house, through my cell phone. All the songs have something special. Each one stands on its own.

Can’t tell which one is the best but this is one of my many favorites. Enjoy.

Adele Wows With “Million Years Ago” Live Performance On ‘The Today Show’

Singer Adele doesn’t have a single day to rest in the first week of release of her new album “25”.

The British diva is continuing with her promotional tour across different TV shows in America. On November 25th, she attended NBC’s “The Today Show” to offer a live performance of the super emotional guitar-driven ballad “Million Years Ago” from “25”, which by the way, if you haven’t heard, beat the N’SYNC record of most album sales in a single week in just three days. “25” sold 2.4 million copies from November 20th to November 23rd!

Meghan Trainor Has Her Own ‘Peanuts’ Character and Song On the Soundtrack

Meghan Trainor is the newest member of the Peanuts gang, and she has a new feel-good song to celebrate.

The “Dear Future Husband” singer revealed her cartoon identity via Twitter and Instagram Tuesday (July 27, 2015), also announcing that she will be on the soundtrack for The Peanuts Movie that hits theaters in November.

The track, titled, “Better When I’m Dancin’,” is another classic confidence-boosting tune from Trainor—exactly what The Peanuts Movie makers were looking for.

“They wanted a song about confidence and knew I was good at writing those,” Trainor told People. “I feel better when I’m onstage dancing and having fun, so I wrote about that!”

FOOTPRINTS IN THE SAND

I’ve been following this season with more enthusiasm than ever before. From the day Season 21 started, I’ve been following, admiring and rooting for Bindi.

Last night, the freestyle which Derek choreographed for her was simply amazing and unforgettable.

She has been consistent in her performances. She has improved so much as the weeks have passed. She seems to be older than her years. The support of her family and loved ones has been remarkable. The presence of her father, Steve, has been quite notable.

Tonight is the night.

I’m holding my breath because I really hope she wins the mirrored trophy.

I found this YouTube video which shows the complete evolution, the practice, the reasoning, the performance and the judging of the dance.

I think it’s worth a watch.

There was hardly a dry eye in the Dancing With The Stars arena on Monday night after frontrunner Bindi Irwin took to the stage for a heartfelt tribute dance.

The Australian teenager couldn’t keep her composure and fell sobbing into the arms of her partner Derek Hough, after a childhood image of herself with her late father Steve flashed up at the end of her sequence.

The judging panel and studio audience members were visibly moved by the outpouring of emotion and many were seen wiping their eyes.

“May It Be” is a song composed by Irish musician Enya and Roma Ryan featured in Peter Jackson’s 2001 film The Lord of the Rings, the Fellowship of the Ring. The song entered the German Singles Chart at number one in 2002 and was performed by Enya at the 74th Academy Awards.

The lyrics of this theme song include English words, as well as words in the fictional Elvish language, Quenya, created by J.R.R. Tolkien. Tolkien began writing this High-Elven language in 1915 at the age of 23. Quenya went through many revisions before it finally appeared in the books.

Tolkien’s son Christopher said that for his father Quenya was “language as he wanted it, the language of his heart.” Tolkien himself said of Quenya, “Actually it might be said to be composed on a Latin basis with two other ingredients that happen to give me ‘phonaesthetic’ pleasure: Finnish and Greek. It is however less consonantal than any of the three. This language is High-elven or in its own terms Quenya.”
