Some of you may know, others not.
I am a fan of tattoos, having a few of them myself.
I’m also Puerto Rican, born and raised, living in the mainland.
Since September 20, 2017, when Hurricane María battered and almost flattened my country, my personal feelings have come to the surface.
My heart and soul ache for Puerto Rico.
It’s been a week today since I visited my tattoo artist for add ons, updates, coloring and completion.
Colors, shading, The ‘cemí’, the hibiscus flowers, the ‘Taíno coquí’ and the ‘Taíno sun‘ were completed.
The process is almost totally done.
Only minor details for the last sitting.

This happens in Puerto Rico every minute of every day.
The fortitude of the Puerto Rican woman has been tested during the trying times since Hurricane María battered the Island on September 20, 2018, a bit beyond six months ago today.
I wanted to share another ‘almost complete’ result with you today.
Donald Trump to black voters: ‘What do you have to lose?’
For weeks, Donald Trump has argued he’s the candidate of black America, capable of changing the “hellish” conditions – crime, drugs, deadly gun violence – that afflict their communities. Unlike Hillary Clinton and the Democrats, Trump contends, he won’t take their votes for granted, and his pitch has its own catch phrase:
“What the hell have you got to lose?”

Star Wars Daywas officially first celebrated on May 4, 2011.
In fact, the holiday became so popular that starting in 2012, the next day was jokingly called “Revenge of the Fifth”, a pun on the Star Wars movie title Revenge of the Sith. It might also have something to do with that day being Cinco de Mayo, but to this day fans still like to let their “evil sides” come out the day after Star Wars Day.
When is Star Wars Day?
Star Wars Day is on May 4th every year, playing on the catchphrase “May the Force Be With You.”
The very next day, (as if one day isn’t enough), May 5th, Star Wars fans celebrate Revenge of the Fifth, reserved for those who celebrate the dark side. It’s a play on the title of the third Star Wars movie Revenge of the Sith.
Is It Revenge Of The Fifth or 6th?
People often get confused because the day after May 4th is not only Cinco de Mayo but “Revenge of the Fifth“.
Sometimes it is celebrated on May the 6th because people skip over the 5th for Cinco de Mayo.
If a child lives with criticism, they learn to condemn.

If a child lives with ridicule, he learns to be shy.
But do not despair …

March 2002: The 33-page police report reveals that Jim Bob Duggar tells police his son admits he fondled the breasts and genitals of several victims while they were sleeping in the family’s home, and that similar incidents happened four to five times.
This has me terribly concerned. I saw this come through the social media feeds this morning.
~Secret Island Ebola Death Camps~
The main island of Puerto Rico is the smallest and most eastern of the Greater Antilles. With an area of 3,515 square miles (9,104 km2), it is the third largest island in the United States and the 82nd largest island in the world.
This hits right home for several reasons. I lived in Puerto Rico for most of my life. I was born and raised there. I had a long professional career as a physician with the Veterans Administration which I began in 1985 and retired from in 2013. The connection with the San Juan VA Hospital is “parent hospital/facility for tertiary care” of the veterans in the Island. To this day, this is the only hospital available for the veterans in Puerto Rico. There are other medical facilities around the Island: Out Patient Clinics and Community Based Out Patient Clinics.
San Juan is the capital city of Puerto Rico.
I was born in the San Juan area.
Keep in mind .. these are breaking news.
Will need to keep an eye on this and see where it goes.
I have a sinking feeling in my heart. I don’t have cold facts or evidence. Once again, the USA is set to “use” Puerto Rico for its convenience. As a “commonwealth” of the USA, Puerto Rico “abides” by the rules set by the American government.
Once again, the government of the USA is setting to use and abuse the island of Puerto Rico.

According to potrblog in the video below, the “Veterans Administration hospital in San Juan, Puerto Rico is expecting the near term arrival of a number of Ebola patients and is creating an entire Ebola Ward to handle the infected patient inflow,” and he states that it is unclear if this is the planned location being set up to quarantine US military members coming back from west Africa after becoming infected with the deadly Ebola virus.
The hospital is fearful that the Airborne spread of Ebola out of their quarantine ward will “create a situation where an outbreak of Ebola may happen to patient, guest or employees”.
The Veterans Administration has categorized this as an emergency situation, and has awarded a no-bid emergency contract to install HEPA air filters in the Ward’s return air HVAC ducting.
More in the first video below about the air filters and the HVAC contract, and the second video below is the one where the original shock claim is made about US troops already being in quarantine after returning from Africa, some infected with Ebola.
As some of you may know, I found “Minuscule” …. the playful videos included in several posts. Seems to me a found a “little treasure”. I find them so amusing and cute!
“Minuscule — the private life of insects is a French-made series of short video animations giving “a bird’s eye view of insects’ day to day existence, distorted through a burlesque, yet poetic lens”. The characters are computer-modeled in 3D and set against natural scenery. Each animation has a self-contained and usually humorous story line.
The audio is a combination of genuine insect and ambient recordings with artificial sound effects. The various protagonist insects often perform anthropomorphic activities, displaying ironically portrayed intelligence, enjoyment and, sometimes, pathos.
