Happy Birthday Greenpeace!
On September 15, 1971, a small group activists set sail in an old fishing boat from Vancouver, Canada to stop atomic bomb testing off the coast of Alaska — and in the process created a new force for environmental and peace activism which continues to this day.
It was because of this act of courage Greenpeace was born more than 40 years ago, but it’s thanks to our supporters we’re able to continue to make the world a better place.
Today, as we say “Happy Birthday” to Greenpeace, we want to say thank you to the commitment and dedication of the Greenpeace community.
Greenpeace only exists because of YOU!
A dear blogger friend taught me this concept.

~IN HER OWN WORDS~
“IOTD” is image of the day, a concept I came up with. I teach visual meditative therapy – or in easy terms – a mini mental holiday. For some people it is very difficult for them to get their image right. I post an image a day for people to use in their mini mental vacay. Someare serious, some are silly, and some are just beautiful!”
I found out about Greenpeace Day in Michelle’s post here
