RED NOSE DAY

Red Nose Day is a campaign dedicated to helping children and having fun.

Proceeds benefit children and young people in the US and some of the poorest communities in the world.

It’s sponsored by Comic Relief UK, an organization founded after the 1985 Live Aid concert.

(It helped inspire — but has no other relation to — the American telethon started by Bob Zmuda and long hosted by Robin Williams, Whoopi Goldberg and Billy Crystal.)

The British event is held every two years. There are also Red Nose Days in Finland, Germany and Iceland.

For some people it is very difficult for them to get their image right. I post an image a day for people to use in their mini mental vacay. Some are serious, some are silly, and some are just beautiful!”

Hamilton is a musical about the life of American Founding Father Alexander Hamilton, with music, lyrics and book by Lin-Manuel Miranda.

The show, inspired by the 2004 biography Alexander Hamilton by historian Ron Chernow, achieved both critical acclaim and box office success.

The musical made its Off-Broadway debut at The Public Theater in February 2015, where its engagement was sold out. The show transferred to Broadway in August 2015 at the Richard Rodgers Theatre. On Broadway, it received enthusiastic critical acclaim and unprecedented advance box office sales, as well as a Grammy Award for Best Musical Theater Album and the Pulitzer Prize for Drama.
