KITTY IS MY BLACK CAT

We had a rough start at the beginning.

Almost thought we’d give her away.

She was really driving us insane and was tearing the house up.

Nowadays, it’s a different story.

She’s still her own “person” but she’s here to stay.

Because of superstitious beliefs in some cultures, black cats are sometimes associated with bad luck and, sadly, are more likely to be put to sleep or wait a long time to be adopted from shelters.

Black Cat Appreciation Day was launched to show people that a black cat could be the perfect cat for them, and help raise awareness about black cats in general.

About Steve Jobs

A child put up for adoption soon after birth, a college dropout who just had a single calligraphy course as his formal education could never have been a millionaire until he is Steve Jobs.

Now this name is synonymous with élan. Jobs preached that no matter what happens in your life, struggles in school or an unsuccessful career path — every aspect will somehow help you down the road.

“Again, you can’t connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backwards,” Jobs said. “So you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future. You have to trust in something — your gut, destiny, life, karma, whatever.

This approach has never let me down, and it has made all the difference in my life.”

Jobs gave an inspiring commencement address at Stanford in 2005.

Though he is not with us anymore, he made sure that he leaves behind a giant company we all know it today as the Apple.

I'm originally from Puerto Rico. I was born in Santurce and raised in Rio Piedras. I currently live in Florida - since 1999. I have a doctorate degree in Medicine; completed in 1976. My Internal Medicine specialty was completed in 1979. Worked for Puerto Rico's health system until 1985. At this time, I'm happily retired after working for the federal government for almost 28yrs. I also worked for the government of Puerto Rico from 1979 through 1985 .... for a total of almost 40 years as a physician. I want to offer any knowledge that I have to anyone "out there" who is interested. My views are liberal in almost every sense. My knowledge is "eclectic" - a bit of everything. Music and reading are my passion. Blogging has also become a very interesting endeavor. Metaphysical topics attract me. I'm interested in news - reporting human issues like injustice, discrimination and abuse - the "wrongly" affected. My intention is to bring this knowledge to an understandable level and to help anyone in need. I'm open to questions and will answer them to the best of my ability. Currently working on an enterprise whose main mission will be to bring peoples of all walks of life together. To be one .... since we ALL are ONE!! The future looks bright and promising!!!
