Angelika’s Songs …. “Taylor Swift – Bad Blood ft. Kendrick Lamar”!!

Angelika, is my oldest grand-daughter, you may have seen her here a few times.

She is 10 years old.

She loves music, as much as I do.

She’s been keeping me up to date with some of the new songs that are coming out.

She knew the songs but doesn’t know the performer most of the time. I’ve trying to teach her it’s important to also know who is singing.

Very frequently, we use the “Shazam” app to identify the singer/band.

She’s getting very good with her music.

She has become quite adept at knowing the song she likes and the singer who sings it.

Several days ago, she came home asking me if I knew about a new song by Taylor Swift called “Bad Blood“.

I didn’t.

We looked it up together and here I’m presenting it to you.

(This girl has quite a way of teaching me!)

Taylor Swift gathered over a dozen famous female friends – including Selena Gomez, Gigi Hadid, Karlie Kloss, Ellie Goulding and Lena Dunham, to name a few – to star in her riveting Bad Blood music video.

Taylor Swift reveals new song ‘Bad Blood’ draws on feud with female singer

Taylor Swift’s new song is about a feud with an unnamed female singer, the US pop star has revealed.
Ex-boyfriends are a regular source of inspiration for the 24-year old, but “Bad Blood” centers on a mystery peer she is “straight-up enemies with”.

“For years, I was never sure if we were friends or not,” Swift told Rolling Stone.

“She would come up to me at awards shows and say something and walk away, and I would think, ‘Are we friends, or did she just give me the harshest insult of my life?’”

We have been looking Pentatonix on YouTube She found this one on her own.

Both of us were enthralled by the presentation, the colors, the talent.

Pentatonix Covers Daft Punk Hits in Stunning A Cappella Medley

Pentatonix, the a cappella group that recently brought us a beautiful rendering of Beyonce’s greatest hits, has set its sights on the French electronic duo Daft Punk.

In a little over four minutes, Pentatonix’ new medley covers an impressive array of Daft Punk hits, including “Get Lucky,” Celebrate,” “Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger” and “One More Time.”

Last night, we were looking at a YouTube video by Pentatonix that she had found on her own. Her music teacher at school showed the class another one of their videos. And we went searching!

As we were browsing and trolling through YouTube, we found this one. Both of us were enthralled by the presentation, the colors, the talent.

Closing the Christmas season at “It Is What It Is“. Here’s hoping that the Spirit which characterizes the Season will continue throughout this new year 2015. 

“Mary, Did You Know?” is a Christmas song with lyrics and music written by Mark Lowry and Buddy Greene. It was originally recorded by Christian recording artist, Michael English on his solo debut album in 1991 (English and Lowry were both members of the Gaither Vocal Band). Lowry would record the song several times himself, most notably with the Gaither Vocal Band on their 1998 Christmas album.

The song has since gone on to become a modern Christmas classic, being recorded by many artists over the years across multiple genres.

Pentatonix is sending chills down everyone’s spine with their beautiful rendition of “Mary Did You Know.”

Their arrangement on this already beautiful song is putting everyone in the Christmas spirit with their unique style a cappella style. This song has been redone by many artists.

No doubt, this version will become a favorite of many!
