To start the day … “Carol of the Bells”!!

~~December 16, 2014~~

This track features an arrangement of the classic carol that is at once both spirited and haunting. Mitch Grassi’s formidable tenor leads the song, and he’s well supported by the rest of the group, though Avi Kaplan’s incredible bass notes deserve a special shoutout (Seriously, how does he go that low?!).

They’re basically like a chorus of angels wearing skinny jeans… or something like that.

Pentatonix (often abbreviated as PTX) is an American a cappella group of five vocalists originating from Arlington, Texas. Their work, mostly in, but not limited to, the pop music style, consists of covers of pre-existing songs and some original material, sometimes in the form of medleys. Their music is defined by their own arrangement style, a strong presence of low bass vocals, and a diverse range of vocal percussion.
