She visited Ellen DeGeneres on her show. 

We, the audience, had the pleasure of Michelle’s company for the full hour. She regaled us with stories, information, humor and her presence. She was a breath of fresh air.

Michelle LaVaughn Robinson Obama (born January 17, 1964) is an American lawyer, university administrator, and writer who served as the First Lady of the United States from 2009 to 2017.

She is married to the 44th U.S. President, Barack Obama, and was the first African-American First Lady.

Raised on the South Side of Chicago, Illinois, Obama is a graduate of Princeton University and Harvard Law School. In her early legal career, she worked at the law firm Sidley Austin, where she met Barack Obama. She subsequently worked in non-profits and as the Associate Dean of Student Services at the University of Chicago and the Vice President for Community and External Affairs of the University of Chicago Medical Center. Michelle married Barack in 1992 and they have two daughters.

Obama campaigned for her husband’s presidential bid throughout 2007 and 2008, delivering a keynote address at the 2008 Democratic National Convention. She returned to speak for him at the 2012 Democratic National Convention.

During the 2016 Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia, she delivered a speech in support of the Democratic presidential nominee, Hillary Clinton, a former First Lady.

SNL took a humorous look at an R&B version of a song that begged former President Barack Obama to return to the White House.

The trio De-Von-Tré, comprised of Chance the Rapper, Kenan Thompson and newcomer Chris Redd, did their best “D*** In a Box” impression of a Boyz II Men type of 1990’s group crooning about wanting their former love to return to them.

Chance sang about ‘so-called President’ Drumpf not even having a dog in the White House.

Kenan spoke over the track about constitutional rules and regulations.

In nine days, President Barack Obama will become a private citizen after eight years of being the president of the United States of America.

He gave his farewell address last night, January 10.

There was no hint of hate, remorse or bitterness in spite of the experiences he had while serving the country.

He’s an example of dignity, decency, principles, caring, love and so much more.

I thank you!

I am proud of you as you served.

I am ashamed of the treatment you received from others.

Yet, you remained above it all.

It’s always mentioned that you are the first African American president elected.

I’m going to note what I’ve always said:

Obama’s Approval Ratings Only Going Up at End of Administration

Voters may have decided that the White House needed a new party in it, but polls released in the past week show that President Barack Obama‘s approval ratings are at the highest they’ve been since at least 2012.

One poll even shows his best numbers since 2009.

I won’t even bother looking for information related to the ‘other guy’.

In my mind and my humble opinion, he’s worthless as a person and, more than anything, as the president elect of this nation.
