~RINCON BEACH RESORT~
Whenever we travel to Puerto Rico to visit family and friends and to get away from the daily hustle and bustle, we land in Aguadilla. We drive to Rincón and check in.
The resort is our base. We drive from the base to surrounding towns to see friends and family.
As a matter of fact, we were due for our next trip before Hurricane María nearly flattened Puerto Rico 118 days ago.
Prior to that, Hurricane Irma also grazed the island.

NOTICE HOW BIG MARIA WAS
It engulfed and swallowed Puerto Rico.
According to the National Hurricane Center, hurricane-force winds extended up to 30 miles from Hurricane María’s center, while tropical storm-force winds extend outward for up to 125 miles.
Keep in mind that Puerto Rico is 100 miles long X 35 miles wide.
There was no place to hide!

It’s all gone. My heart is hurting.
The friend who sent me the pictures told me that the beach lost its shore, the trees and the palm trees are gone as you can see.
The beach itself is deeper and not safe for swimming.
THE SOFT SAND IS GONE, REPLACED BY ROCKS AND DEBRIS

On the summer solstice, Earth’s maximum axial tilt toward the Sun is 23.44°. This happens twice each year (once in each hemisphere), when the Sun reaches its highest position in the sky as seen from the north or south pole.

What a great way to start any morning.
Ricky Martin has a new video for a very catchy tune.
It brings back memories of summer as the fall season beings.
Are we already missing the summer heat?

Ricky Martin and Maluma’s “Vente Pa’Ca” has us feeling like it’s summer all over again.
After snapping a selfie together and blasting it on social media, the two hot Latin superstars host an epic beach party at the SLS Hotel in Miami Beach where they party it up Miami-style.
The clip was directed by Jessy Terrero.
The party track with a reggaeton beat was originally titled “Some Kind of Dream” in English and was written in Scandinavia by Anne Judith Stokke Wik, Ronny Vidar Svendsen, Nermin Harambasic, Justin Stein, Lars “Chief One” Pedersen and Carl Ryden.
For the Spanish-language track, Mau Y Ricky Montaner penned the lyrics.
Martin also contributed in the writing.
While the video makes its debut now, “Vente Pa’Ca” will be available on all digital platforms as of Friday, September 23.

In a beautiful, tropical beach, on the southwest corner of Puerto Rico,

This movement was caught by the girl’s mother.
Even though it’s a still, it conveys the beauty of motion.
It’s a feeling of energy and physical ability.
The mother is my best friend, the daughter I never had.
