Hillary Clinton Literally Transforms into Bernie Sanders to Attract Millennial Voters in SNL Ad Parody

To all of the millennials in America, Kate McKinnon’s Hillary Clinton has a message, courtesy of Saturday Night Live:

Clinton shares all of your “exact same beliefs” and always has and looks and sounds just like Sen. Bernie Sanders, because maybe she secretly is?

This weekend’s SNL spoofed Clinton’s enthusiasm gap with younger liberal voters through a prism that turned her into Sanders over the course of a two-minute fake campaign ad.

“Luckily I, Hillary Clinton, share all of your exact same beliefs, and I always have,” she said at the start. “Since the beginning of my campaign, I have constantly said, ‘We need a revolution in the streets.’ ”

First came the Sanders glasses, then the Sanders voice and then the Sanders suits.

And finally: the Sanders hair.

“When it comes to that darn Wall Street, I’ve always believed no bank can be too big to fail, in a Sanders voice ‘no executive too’ – you know the rest,” Clinton said near the end. “That famous mobilizing sentence that works on you guys that I’ve been saying this whole time.”

In conclusion

“Thank you, millennials, for lending your support to the biggest outsider Jew in the race: Hillary Rodham Clinton.”

People Outraged Over the “Democratic Whore” Comment Made at Bernie Sanders’s Rally

Bernie Sanders is distancing himself from comments made by one of his surrogates at a rally at Washington Square Park on Wednesday night.

Dr. Paul Song is a physician and activist for universal healthcare, and before Sanders took the stage in New York City, Song told the crowd:

“Medicare for all will never happen if we continue to elect corporate Democratic whores, who are beholden to big pharma and the private-insurance industry instead of us,” according to NPR.

After pressure to denounce Song’s “whore” comment came from many Hillary Clinton supporters, including her communications director, Sanders tweeted that the comment was “inapporpriate and insensitive.”

The star of Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders’ Portland, Oregon rally wasn’t the Vermont senator.

A bird flew onto Sanders’ podium during his speech. The crowd went nuts.

“I know it doesn’t look like it, but that bird is really a dove asking us for world peace,” Sanders said. “No more wars.”

Liberalism is a political philosophy or worldview founded on ideas of liberty and equality. The former principle is stressed in classical liberalism while the latter is more evident in social liberalism.

My views are liberal.

I strongly believe in helping others and the reality that we are part of a larger group called humanity.

We are all connected.

I can’t fathom the idea that anyone would leave other humans behind with the intention of becoming better, richer and higher than thou.

If I’m classified as a Democrat because of this, I’m fine with it.

Keep in mind, that in this country, the options are limited to two.

Therefore, when primary time comes around, I’ll be voting for Bernie.

Yet, if Hillary is the nominee, I vote for her.

Jimmy Fallon gives Bernie Sanders’ grumpier, saltier New Hampshire victory speech

On Wednesday’s Tonight Show, February 10, Jimmy Fallon put on a bald cap and wrinkled suit and tested out his Bernie Sanders impersonation. Fallon’s Sanders, like the real Democratic presidential candidate, declared victory in Tuesday’s New Hampshire primary, but Fallon’s version was a little more “get off of my lawn!” and a tad bit saltier than the real senator.

“New Hampshirites showed the world that you’re good, decent people, even though you live in towns that sound like 18th century porn stars,” he said. “You have spoken, and your message is loud and clear: You want a candidate who looks like a Scooby-Doo villain before his mask is removed.”

It would be unfair to compare Fallon’s impersonation to Larry David’s, but it isn’t half bad.
