Amidst all the underhanded, debased, disgusting information, actions and mudslinging taking place on one side of the 2016 presidential campaign, what happened in Oregon to Senator Sanders was a breath of fresh air.

Bernie Sanders smiled as a bird landed on his podium at a Portland, Oregon rally
The star of Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders’ Portland, Oregon rally wasn’t the Vermont senator.
A bird flew onto Sanders’ podium during his speech. The crowd went nuts.
“I know it doesn’t look like it, but that bird is really a dove asking us for world peace,” Sanders said. “No more wars.”
Sanders thought the interruption was symbolic.
