‘Don’t vote for him,’ the singer tells the audience

Hillary Clinton has no shortage of singing celebrity supporters – Jay Z, Demi Lovato, Elton John, Katy Perry, among them.
Now she can add Adele to that list.
At the British singer’s Tuesday night concert, October 24, in Miami, where Clinton was in attendance and reportedly celebrating on the eve of her 69th birthday, Adele addressed the upcoming election and urged the audience,
“Don’t vote for him,” referring, of course, to Clinton’s opponent, Donald Trump.
“I am English, but what happens in America affects me too,” she told the crowd at the American Airlines Arena.
“I am 100 percent for Hillary Clinton. I love her, she’s amazing.”
The Genting Arena, host to large music concerts, is part of the National Exhibition Centre (NEC) complex located in Birmingham, England.
The 16,000 capacity Genting Arena was the largest multi-purpose arena in the UK when opening in 1980 as “The NEC Arena” and is still a major popular venue for many large, international touring acts.
Together, the NEC and the Genting Arena host over 3 million visitors each year.

~Adele Sings ‘All I Ask’ A Cappella After Sound Failure at Concert~
Proving that she’s a true professional with the voice better than all your faves, Adele powered through her performance of “All I Ask” like a champ on Saturday (April 2, 2016) in Birmingham, England after the speakers abruptly cut out.
Around two minutes into her song, sound for her microphone and piano went out and forced the 28-year-old to sing a cappella in front of the sold out crowd. Without missing a beat, the songstress went on – joined by the audience singing along – to finish the song.
After the performance, Adele revealed that she had no idea that her show had suffered a technical difficulty.
“Why did you all start cheering mid-way through. It scared the life out of me. I thought there was a streaker on stage. What was that?” Adele asked the crowd. “The sound went off? The PA fucking cut off?
Well, it didn’t cut off in my ears. I could hear myself.”
She added about lip syncing claims,
“Tell them I wasn’t miming. They might think I was miming, I wasn’t miming.
Adele’s comeback album “25″ sold a record-breaking 3.38 million copies in its first week on sale in the US, according to Nielsen Music data.
The British star notched up the largest single sales week for an album since Nielsen began monitoring sales in 1991.
“25” released on 20 November also became the first album to sell more than three million copies in a week.
In Britain, “25” similarly broke records for the highest number of albums sold in a single week of the UK charts.
The album shifted more than 800,000 copies in its first week of release in the UK – more copies than the next 86 albums in the charts combined.
In the US, “25” is already the biggest selling album of 2015, surpassing the 1.8 million copies sold of Taylor Swift’s 1989.

Adele, who has been out of the limelight since winning an Oscar for the Bond theme tune Skyfall in 2013, recently announced her first tour since 2011, playing in arenas across Europe from next February.
Her last tour ended prematurely due to the discovery of a hemorrhage on her vocal cord, which required surgery.

Adele speaks with TODAY’s Matt Lauer about her new album, “25,” which was released last Friday, and her one-hour NBC special, “Adele Live in New York City.” Adele talks about the source of inspiration for her music saying, “sometimes you have to let yourself be sad to move forward.” She also talks about her son Angelo, saying that he comes first and that she and her music come second in her life.
Adele performed her hit ballad When We Were Young without a hitch.
The British songbird marked her epic comeback with a flawless performance, closing out the biggest night in British music.
Adele, who was the night’s biggest winner, received a rapturous applause for the beautiful song which brought the audience to their feet.
Wearing a star-embellished red dress, Adele’s voice carried throughout the arena – while telling fans who were lucky enough to be at the front of the stage “you lot remind me of when I was young!” mid-way through the song.
“I am so lucky to have you love me like you do. This album was so hard to make and you are amazing and thank you for our lovely son who is the love of my life.”
Adele Laurie Blue Adkins, born 5 May 1988 is an English singer and songwriter.
Graduating from the BRIT School for Performing Arts and Technology in 2006, Adele was given a recording contract by XL Recordings after a friend posted her demo on Myspace the same year.
