Michael Bublé joined James Corden in the Carpool Karaoke lane to support a cause near and dear to his heart. First broadcast in the UK as part of a Stand Up to Cancer special, the Canadian crooner spoke to the Late Late Show host about his son Noah, who was previously diagnosed with cancer in 2016.

Bublé said that when they received the news about his son Noah’s cancer diagnosis in 2016, his “whole life ended.”

“It’s so hard to have to acknowledge it because it’s so painful to talk about,” he said.

Holding back tears, he talked about what his family went through and how all of them moved to California to get the best treatment for Noah, who has since been in remission.

“When this all started, I became the strength to somehow pull us and lift us and to be positive,” Buble told Corden.

“When they got the cancer out and the chemo was done and they said, ‘We did it, it’s good, he’s okay,’ I fell, I just fell. My wife picks me up now.”

Bublé encouraged viewers to contribute to Stand Up to Cancer before he and Corden ended the emotional Carpool Karaoke session with a stirring rendition of “Home.”

Since then I have maintained contact with her through social media and followed her continued efforts for the rights of the LGBTQ community in her current location in California and all over the world.

Her right to exercise her 1st amendment rights lead to cancellation of a speaking engagement at a Navy Pride event.

Reason: she has tweeted comments that are critical of the Drumpf administration!

Some of Montecito’s famous residents – Ellen DeGeneres and Oprah Winfrey – are speaking out about the devastating mudslides that have ravaged Southern California.

The one-two punch of fire and downpour-fueled debris flows have debilitated the affluent, picturesque community of about 10,000 people. The slides have killed at least 17, destroyed an estimated 100 homes and sent rescuers scrambling through the rubble searching for dozens who are missing.

DeGeneres told the audience of her daytime talk show Thursday, January 11.

The Youtuber Sam Tsui has come out as gay, a day before he married his partner.

Tsui, who is best known for posting his music videos and covers of popular songs on his channel, revealed the details about his personal life for the first time in a vlog on Friday.

In a vlog, which he labelled an understated “coming out video of a sort”, Tsui announced he is in a long-term relationship with fellow YouTuber and musician Casey Breves.

I have been following these two guys on YouTube. Their music has always fascinated me. Plenty of times I have posted a new video by either one of them or the two together.

I was surfing the net on my smartphone and found a video called ‘This Promise‘ which I hadn’t seen.

Much to my surprise it was their wedding ceremony!

Amazing!

So touching and so heartwarming.

It’s already been one year, so happy belated anniversary!

LGBTQ Americans are in a state of urgent need: an administration actively hostile to the community now occupies the White House; homophobic and transphobic hate crimes have spiked following the election; over 130 laws attacking LGBTQ rights are pending in state legislatures around the country; and the one-year anniversary of the horrific Pulse shooting in Orlando is fast approaching. In this difficult climate, Give OUT Day, a national day of giving for the LGBTQ community, will once again coordinate a 24-hour online fundraising event to support over 300 LGBTQ organizations across all 50 states, Puerto Rico, and the District of Columbia.

Give OUT Day 2017 will take place on April 20, 2017 from 12:00 am to 11:59 pm Eastern. Last year, Give Out Day raised over $550,000.

LGBTQ advocacy groups are outraged after proposed questions regarding sexual orientation and gender identity were quickly removed Tuesday, March 28, from a just-released draft of the 2020 U.S. Census.

The U.S. Census Bureau, which is part of the Department of Commerce, is required to issue a list of categories it plans to track three years before the survey is conducted.

Advocacy groups have been campaigning for years to include questions about sexual orientation and gender identity, and were briefly elated when the 2020 Census draft was released. But hopes were dashed when the proposed addition suddenly disappeared, and a statement was issued by the Census bureau that called the LGBTQ inclusion a mistake.

The LGBT community has existed since the early days of time.

It wasn’t called that back then.

Great advances were made during the Obama administration which gave our community a sense of equality.

Many came before us who sacrificed to lead us to where we are now.

Harvey Milk was one of the many.

There are also plenty of heroes whose names aren’t know.

With rumors of executive orders coming our way, we mus remain vigilant and ready to stand for our God-given rights as equal human beings.

‘The co-founder of Google, Sergey Brin, immigrated to the U.S. when he was a small child, so the Drumpf’s immigration fiasco hit him hard.

Brin was born in Moscow, and his family of Russian Jews fled in the 1970’s.

Brin decided to protest against Trump’s ridiculous immigrant ban by placing Japanese internment camp survivor Fred Korematsu front and center on Google.’

Fred Toyosaburo Korematsu (January 30, 1919 – March 30, 2005) was an American civil rights activist who objected to the internment of Japanese Americans during World War II. Shortly after the Imperial Japanese Navy launched its attack on Pearl Harbor, President Franklin D. Roosevelt issued Executive Order 9066, which authorized that individuals of Japanese ancestry living on the West Coast were to be removed from their homes and forced to live in internment camps, but Korematsu instead challenged the orders and became a fugitive.

The legality of the internment order was upheld by the Supreme Court of the United States in Korematsu v. United States; this ruling has never been explicitly overturned. Korematsu’s conviction for evading internment was overturned decades later after the disclosure of new evidence challenging the necessity of the internment, evidence which had been withheld from the courts by the U.S. government during the war.

To commemorate his journey as a civil rights activist, the “Fred Korematsu Day of Civil Liberties and the Constitution” was observed for the first time on January 30, 2011, by the state of California, the first such commemoration for an Asian American in the United States.

In 2015, Virginia passed legislation to make it the second state and first commonwealth to permanently recognize each January 30 as Fred Korematsu Day.

The Fred T. Korematsu Institute was founded in 2009 to carry on Korematsu’s legacy as a civil rights advocate by educating and advocating for civil liberties for all communities.
