IT’S OFFICIAL

I’m not a baseball fan at all.

However, since Martin, my friend from the Netherlands and Mike, a local friend, told me about this Baseball Classic and how well Puerto Rico was performing, I jumped on board and followed the results.

Tonight the winner wins!

I’m rooting for Puerto Rico, my country, of course!

It’s official, the USA will face off with Puerto Rico in the World Baseball Classic finals! Wednesday at 9 PM eastern (6 PM pacific)

ON THE WAY TO THE FINALS

I’m not really a baseball fan.

I didn’t know this championship was taking place until my dear friend Martin, from The Netherlands, made me aware.

Since then, he’s been keeping me informed and then I go look for info.

Last night was a very important game in many ways.

The main one for us, out countries were going head to head!

He told me …

“In 12 hours we know who plays final.

Good luck Puerto Rico, may the best ball player win!”

Puerto Rico Defeats the Netherlands (4-3) to make the final of the WBC

Puerto Rico has defeated the team from the Netherlands on an 11-inning sacrifice fly from Eddie Rosario to reach the final of the 2017 World Baseball Classic.

It is the second tournament in a row in which the island’s team reaches the final, having lost the championship to the team from the Dominican Republic in the 2013 tournament (0-3). It now awaits the winner of the second semi-final between Japan and the United States, which will be played tomorrow.
