America’s Got Talent is the one currently on television. These ‘common folk’ are amazing.

There’s so much hidden talent. Bring it out!

Christian Guardino shocked the judges with his powerful voice on America’s Got Talent and he earned the golden buzzer for his amazing audition!

The 16-year-old singer was blind for most of his life before a gene therapy was able to restore his vision.

Christian performed the classic song “Who’s Loving You” and brought the judges and the audience to their feet!

“You were like a little mouse that turned into a lion. You are one of my favorite contestants I’ve seen this year. Not only in terms of your voice. I just like you.

There’s something about you, and it’s just the best possible feeling when we meet someone like you,”

Simon Cowell told Christian.

Howie Mandel decided to use his golden buzzer and send Christian directly to the live shows!

ONE YEAR AGO TODAY

Tragedy struck in the early hours of the night

It was a night of fun and celebration at a Latin even at Pulse, a local LGBTQ night club in Orlando.

Most victims were Latino and Hispanic.

It was Pulse’s Latin Night. 

It was a horrible situation. It was a huge hit for the Latino and Hispanic communities. It was reported that 90% of the victims were Latino/Hispanic with 23 of the victims from Puerto Rico.

AMERICA’S GOT TALENT

I’ve started watching ‘America’s Got Talent‘.

This is my second season. It’s a refreshing surprise to watch his man, a sad clown with a golden voice perform.

It made my life better then.

I’m looking forward for more performances from him.

PUDDLES PITY PARTY’S GOLDEN VOICE IMPRESSED AMERICA’S GOT TALENT JUDGES

Much to the bemusement of the judges and everybody in the audience, Puddles stepped in front of the mic as he usually does, with his giant suitcase and lantern. When pressed for some background info from the judges, he maintained the silent character he always has, only making a sound when he began his performance of Sia’s “Chandelier”.

Of course, he nailed the performance as he always does, but this TV appearance gave us something we’ve never really seen from Puddles before: genuine emotion. His singing is always poignant, but his character is just that: a character.

He’s a sad clown, but when he heard the enthusiastic applause following his big break, he got actually emotional in a real human way, tears running down his face and everything.

The five-member a capella group Pentatonix has released a new music video featuring their own arrangement of Elvis Presley’s “Can’t Help Falling In Love” on April 24.

The somber yet beautiful rendition is one of the seven tracks released from their latest album, PTX Vol. IV – Classics.

The simple video, set against a black backdrop, focuses on the group, as the camera pans to each singer in a circle while their voices are woven in and out together by the melody.

And Debbie Reynolds, a day after her daughter’s passing.

Many have expressed how unforgiving 2016 has been.

Here’s one more example.

George Michael …. “James Corden’s Very First Carpool Karaoke Guest …. Comic Relief …. “!!

NAILED IT!

He was, of course, the very first musical guest to sit in the passenger seat of James Corden’s car, and sing along to one of his own numbers.

Sound familiar? 

Five years ago, when the idea of ‘James Corden, chat show supremo’ was but the twinkle in the eye of a stateside TV exec, George joined the comedic actor for a segment for the 2011 Comic Relief.

The idea was that James was having to drag, reluctantly, an un-cool mate along with him for the day. All the jokes were at the expense of George, his personal tribulations (”I thought we were going to pick up my photos”) and even his music. And, typically, he joined in with gusto. Even doing “sad face”.

And it worked so well, when James got the nod for his own show five years later, that one small sketch gave birth to ‘Carpool Karaoke’, a phenomenon that has gone on to include Mariah Carey, Britney Spears, Madonna, Justin Bieber and even First Lady Michelle Obama. And it all started with George.
 Bravo.

He was 53.

INSPIRING STORY

With the year’s passing of beloved musician and composer Leonard Cohen, it only seems fitting that his timeless song “Hallelujah” should be going viral once again.

At the Killard House School’s choir concert in Donaghadee, Northern Ireland, young Kaylee Rodgers sang a stunning version of Cohen’s most classic tune with modified lyrics. Kaylee’s voice is soaring and rich, but it’s her story that is perhaps most uplifting.

Kaylee happens to have autism and ADHD, and because she was so shy at school, she had a hard time participating in class.

The principal of Killard House, Colin Millar, explains that she

“wouldn’t really read out in class … so to stand and perform in front of an audience is amazing …

It takes a lot of effort on Kaylee’s part.”

Kaylee’s music teacher, Lloyd Scates, played a large role in helping her find the confidence to sing.

Her mother divulged that “she always loved singing, but it wasn’t until she started at Killard House School that she really came into her own. Mr. Scates is like her safety blanket – he’s amazing.”
