I’ve been working with an amazing company called Neste for the past year as a futurologist on a project called #PreOrderTheFuture.
I teamed up with them because it really aligned with what I’m passionate about; which is helping improve the future through technology, sustainability, and education. This project allowed people to submit their ideas that can help improve the future and NESTE would fund it.
This was an ambitious project but nevertheless, I believe a successful one.
Adele performed her hit ballad When We Were Young without a hitch.
The British songbird marked her epic comeback with a flawless performance, closing out the biggest night in British music.
Adele, who was the night’s biggest winner, received a rapturous applause for the beautiful song which brought the audience to their feet.
Wearing a star-embellished red dress, Adele’s voice carried throughout the arena – while telling fans who were lucky enough to be at the front of the stage “you lot remind me of when I was young!” mid-way through the song.
“I am so lucky to have you love me like you do. This album was so hard to make and you are amazing and thank you for our lovely son who is the love of my life.”
What You Resist Persists
… say YES! to your problems and watch them melt away.
This reminds me so much about my therapist Julie. This is what she tells me all the time. What I consider problems in my life aren’t really that bad. I would say it’s a matter of perspective. I know others have it worse than me. I really can’t complain.
Granted, I’m not saying this is easy. I’m saying that I have to try.
Need to go with the flow!!
“Whenever you are experiencing discontentment or unhappiness, there is something you are resisting. All suffering is caused by non-acceptance of what is. It may be a thought, a feeling, an emotion or a situation. You suffer when you want things to be different from how they are. What you resist persists.
Most of the time, it is NOT the experience itself that creates pain and suffering, rather the resistance TO the experience. How you label the experience determines how you feel.
So lets get back to the expression “What you resist persists.” The Law of Attraction states that like attracts like.
Through resisting our experiences, we draw more of the same to ourselves. Through focusing on what you don’t want, you attract more of it. A far better (and infinitely more peaceful) approach is to consciously offer no resistance.
Simply acknowledge what is there, allow it to be there and know there is nothing “wrong” with it.
Be aware of any commentary about the experience. There is no need to fix or change anything. Wanting to fix it will create more of it. Simply seeing it is enough. Then see what happens!
Negative states persist because we give them energy and importance by focusing on them. When we offer no resistance, they wither and fade away. And, even if they do remain, so what!!!”
Why struggle? The way of the water is to follow the natural path. It cuts through mountains and sculpts the landscape by simply following it’s heart! Designed to raise the Consciousness.
We ALL are connected through this wonderful web we WEAVE!!
I know of some bloggers whose “spot” gets bombarded with haters’ comments. They can be threatening, disheartening, vicious, bigoted. They have no merit. The haters latch on to the blog of others who have interacted or commented favorably in that initial blog. Their intention: intimidate, scare, bully.
Those who comment that way are jealous cowards who hide behind their monitor screens.
They need to know that there’s a tight community here and we won’t allow bullies. They defame what bloggers try to do. There are more of us than of you.
Actions and measures will be taken with the proper authorities to prevent and stop this.
“Don’t go bringing negative energy into my space.”
It won’t be allowed!

Thank you very much for inviting me to this great blog tour Patty!

The questions are:
What are you currently working on?
Unlike some of my fellow bloggers who are published authors, I select the topics that I post about in a very informal way. I look at the news, remember special holidays, keep track of celebrities – death anniversaries, birthdays – celebrate important days in history, review topics related to animals, music – remembering old hits and posting about new artists and their new songs, consider causes like autism, Earth day, Oceans Day. The environment is a very important subject for me as well as medical issues: medical conditions and adverse effects to the human body due to GMOs, ChemTrails, etc.
Spiritual topics attract me. I try to post inspirational and motivational posts to uplift the human spirit.
From my blog’s “ABOUT”:
“My views are liberal in almost every sense. My knowledge is “eclectic” – a bit of everything. Music and reading are my passion. Blogging has also become a very interesting endeavor. Metaphysical topics attract me. I’m interested in news – reporting human issues like injustice, discrimination and abuse – the “wrongly” affected. My intention is to bring this knowledge to an understandable level and to help anyone in need. I’m open to questions and will answer them to the best of my ability.”
“Currently working on an enterprise whose main mission will be to bring peoples of all walks of life together. To be one …. since we ALL are ONE!!
The future looks bright and promising!!!”
I also write from personal experience. I write about my family and my friends’ families. I have written about two good friends who have lost dear ones. People’s stories inspire me. The important topics for them inspire me also.
How does your work differ from others of its genre?
This is a bit difficult to answer because I don’t consider I have a “genre”. I think that what I do in the blogosphere is unique only in the aspect that it’s written by one individual. There are so many excellent bloggers out there. I see their work everyday. All of them are unique.
I have learned many things from those I follow and read. The topics are as varied as there are bloggers. The same goes for the style and looks of each blog.
Maybe I can say that my work differs from others because of the passion I put into it. However, I feel the passion that other bloggers/writers have.
Why do you write what you do?
I retired from a full time job after almost 40 years working as a physician. During those many years, I educated patients about their conditions and how to manage them. I supervised interns and residents, worked with nurses, offered informal lectures …. always with the intent to “educate”.
My intention has always been to share what I know and what I learn about. I post to educate in any way possible. My desire is to bring this knowledge to an understandable level and to help anyone in need.
I write about vacation time, fun time and serious time.
How does your writing process work?
I think that my writing process is very disorganized. LOL … many times I sit in front of the computer wondering what to write about. The google doodles inspire me. Sometimes, postings on Facebook direct me to a topic. New videos on YouTube also lead me down the path to a post. I like to post about the movies that I see and include the “trailer” to motivate the reader.
Bloggers who I read and follow are an inspiration.
Like I’ve said … a bit of everything. Nothing is planned.
I have chosen a few bloggers whose work I love and who are great people as well. Take a look!

“Goin’ places that I’ve never been. Seein’ things that I may never see again
And I can’t wait to get on the road again. On the road again – Like a band of gypsies we go down the highway We’re the best of friends. Insisting that the world keep turning our way”

A community is a social unit of any size that shares common values. Although embodied or face-to-face communities are usually small, larger or more extended communities such as a national community, international community and virtual community are also studied.
Since the advent of the Internet, the concept of community has less geographical limitation, as people can now gather virtually in an online community and share common interests regardless of physical location. Prior to the internet, virtual communities (like social or academic organizations) were far more limited by the constraints of available communication and transportation technologies.
One broad definition which incorporates all the different forms of community is
“
a group or network of persons who are connected (objectively) to each other by relatively durable social relations that extend beyond immediate genealogical ties, and who mutually define that relationship (subjectively) as important to their social identity and social practice.

“I want to offer any knowledge that I have to anyone “out there” who is interested. My views are liberal in almost every sense. My knowledge is “eclectic” – a bit of everything. Music and reading are my passion. Blogging has also become a very interesting endeavor. Metaphysical topics attract me. I’m interested in news – reporting human issues like injustice, discrimination and abuse – the “wrongly” affected. As noted above, the internet has broken barriers and has made our huge world so much smaller and accessible.
We connect and we make long lasting bonds even though we are physically far apart.
Hater is a derogatory term used to describe people who are derogatory towards people.
Haters behave as such not out of jealousy, but out of the need to reduce the target of hatred’s standing. The term is often used as an abusive ad hominem attack to dismiss any negative criticism. It is also often commits the fallacy of begging the question as it exempts the abusive use of the word hater from being considered hateful by assuming it’s reasonable and the criticism made by the supposed hater is not.
Haters are identified as people who offer solely negative criticism to others, without justification. Haters deal in negative cognitive bias, prejudicially arriving at a conclusion first and then drawing in their reasons afterward, refusing to alter their conclusion with exposure to the opinions of others. Haters are frequently thought of as imposing their self-hate on others.
A Hater is not simply someone who offers criticism. It is sometimes used as an accusation against others with different opinions, even against those who offer constructive criticism.
Furthermore, mere negativity does not make a Hater – it is negativity without a justifiable basis.
~~Word and Concept Origins~~
The term hater dates back to the 14th century, though at this time it was defined simply as “one who hates an enemy.” The modern usage of the term sometime around the late 1990s. A lot of people use slang terms without knowing their true origins.
Back in the days (80s) there was a group of police called the Cowboys. They were a rough bunch who were actually profiled on the news show 60 Minutes. Phil ran with a crew who called themselves the Playboys.. “players” for short.
The cowboys used to mess with Phil’s crew and hence got dubbed ‘Player Haters‘. That was the original meaning., Then in the 90’s rapper Biggie Smalls used it in his song “Playa Hater”. The song proclaims “we have the playas, and we have the playa haters”, and continues “please don’t hate me because I’m beautiful”, accusing Biggie’s critics of jealousy.

~~LYRICS~~
Well hello friend Mister Insightful
Thank you for your comment on my little Youtube clip!
Most people say you’re cruel and spiteful,
But you’re right, how do I sleep at night? I am a massive prick.
They call you hater well they’re just jealous
Your constructive pearls of wisdom give me thrills I can’t deny
How will we know if you don’t tell us
We could improve our Youtube channels by “fucking off and dying”?
Some might say you are a…
Sexually aggressive, racist, homophobe, misogynistic,
Cowardly, illiterate, waste of human skin,
Sexually aggressive, racist, homophobe, misogynistic,
Cowardly, illiterate, waste of human skin,
But I say: thank you beautiful stranger.
I love the way you don’t upload things
You know we’d be too dazzled by your cinematic vision
But you’re there on every comment string
Where you teach us, just like Jesus but while wanking like a gibbon.
I’m really sure that if I met you
You probably wouldn’t rape me like you promised that you would
We are like “that”; I really get you
You’re right about that laughing kid, he is a total “cnut”.
(Samba instrumental)
You wished me cancer and misspelled “cancer”
But I know that it’s a metaphor. You hope that I will grow,
Just like the tumour you hoped would kill me
Inside the tits on which you said you’d also like a go.
You said that girls shouldn’t do funny
But you’d fuck me double hard and let your mates go after you.
Oh what a line you lovely honey.
Are you on e-harmony? Oo! I’ll join the queue!
Some might say you’re a…
sexually aggressive, racist, homophobe, misogynistic,
cowardly, illitterate, waste of human skin,
sexually aggressive, racist, homophobe, misogynistic,
cowardly, iliterate, waste of human skin.
But if it wasn’t for you my darling,
I would never have written this tune.
Some might say that You’re So Vain,
But this song is all about you!

My dear friend, The Rebel, is a sweet human being who has always shown significant interest in her community. Her life has been dedicated to help and facilitate issues in her community. She does the same thing in this “cyberland community” that we belong to.
I’m very thankful to have come across “The Rebel”.
Much is frequently said about “community“. I see ourselves as a group of people who have similar ideas, concepts, interests and values. Another quality that we have in common is that we had a basic need to share what we have to offer each in a very individualized and different way.
Since the advent of the Internet, the concept of community has less geographical limitation, as people can now gather virtually in an online community and share common interests regardless of physical location. Prior to the internet, virtual communities (like social or academic organizations) were far more limited by the constraints of available communication and transportation technologies.
The word “community” is derived from the Old Frenchcommunitéwhich is derived from the Latincommunitas (com, “with/together” + munus, “gift”), a broad term for fellowship or organized society.[1] Some examples of community service are to help in church, tutoring, hospitals, etc.

You may say I’m a dreamer … but I’m not the only one.
~~John Lennon~~
Why do I write this?
We dream of making a difference. We dream of doing good things. We dream of helping others. We dream of achieving higher goals.
Not to boast but to gauge that somehow, somewhere, someone “lands” on your spot and finds something that will help through hard times, that will inspire, that will motivate, that will give that needed gentle nudge.
Those are some of my dreams …. mainly to help in any way possible.
In any way that is within my reach.
That wouldn’t be possible without readers, followers and rebloggers.
Through this web, we connect and communicate. Through this web we inspire, support, educate and help.
Thank you, thank you, thank you …. to all of you who have stopped, read, commented and reblog. These numbers wouldn’t be here without you.
Thanks so much …. from the heart!
