This is Connor.

He’s my oldest grandson and also my godchild.

Today he has a birthday.

He’s Angelika’s brother.

This collage was created by an iPhone app called “Timehop”.

We celebrated his birthday last year by taking him to dinner at “Outback“.

That’s the plan for tonight.

He wants to go there again.

Who can deny this “little man” his birthday wish?

For some people it is very difficult for them to get their image right. I post an image a day for people to use in their mini mental vacay. So … I went a little crazy, because … I felt a little crazy. Anyway, here’s a drum cover to the smash-hit from the 1970’s, Frank Mills MUSIC BOX DANCER I pretty much killed it.

School is out and we have the kids at home during the day while the parents work. We need to keep them entertained and busy.

This is Connor-Man.

“I’ve got this”!

From a very young age, he’s been totally attracted to drums. So much so, that his Mommy found a real drum set at a garage sale and got it for him at a price that she couldn’t pass up. He’s been fascinated since. He played and played, even though his short legs didn’t reach the big pedals. He loves music.

Why include this video today?

Yesterday he spent part of the afternoon watching drumming videos on YouTube and specifically called me over to watch this one.

He liked it a lot and wanted to share it with me.

Here I am, sharing it with you.

To start the day …. a touching school activity!!

These are two of my grand-kids.

The girl is Angelika, 9 years old; the boy is her younger brother, Connor, 6 years old.

This morning they had an activity at their school. They go to a Christian school and learn plenty about how to life a good life.

It was good to see this in person. Their stage in life is where they are still being formed … physically, mentally and spiritually.

It was comforting and reassuring to see that.

The event ended with the following song …. one that I’ve always liked.

I'm originally from Puerto Rico. I was born in Santurce and raised in Rio Piedras. I currently live in Florida - since 1999. I have a doctorate degree in Medicine; completed in 1976. My Internal Medicine specialty was completed in 1979. Worked for Puerto Rico's health system until 1985. At this time, I'm happily retired after working for the federal government for almost 28yrs. I also worked for the government of Puerto Rico from 1979 through 1985 .... for a total of almost 40 years as a physician. I want to offer any knowledge that I have to anyone "out there" who is interested. My views are liberal in almost every sense. My knowledge is "eclectic" - a bit of everything. Music and reading are my passion. Blogging has also become a very interesting endeavor. Metaphysical topics attract me. I'm interested in news - reporting human issues like injustice, discrimination and abuse - the "wrongly" affected. My intention is to bring this knowledge to an understandable level and to help anyone in need. I'm open to questions and will answer them to the best of my ability. Currently working on an enterprise whose main mission will be to bring peoples of all walks of life together. To be one .... since we ALL are ONE!! The future looks bright and promising!!!
