unprecedented breach of foreign policy protocol both in its form and its boldness
The news about this “letter” has been circulating around cyberspace. I believe that the majority of Americans, whatever their ideologies are, would agree that this was done with the intent to sabotage any deals that the current administration is negotiating.
There are many reasons to consider.
However, never before had such an action been recorded in the history of the Congress of the United States of America. I strongly believe that this sets a precedent for any future sitting president of this country.
They are there because they were elected (so far). They aren’t there to enrich themselves, to lead this country astray or to play outside of the rules. This is a total lack of respect coming from the “c” of the government. They are not working for the people, they are working for themselves.
