I came across the video included below this morning as I was “traversing” through my Facebook Timeline.

Title: Dear Trump Supporters

I wasn’t sure what I was going to get … like life, it’s a box of chocolate thing.

Yet, as the young man mentions, please listen until the end.

I have been researching to find out more about this group of young adults.

I’ve only found out the sources I’ve listed below.

I’m not sure still what kind of organization they are.
There’s a quick moment when the name “Sanders” flashes through the screen.

My intention isn’t to promote Mr. Sanders.

My intention is to share the message.

The message in their video resonates so well with what is going on in this country, at this moment in time, during this political cycle.

I saw this video in my feed and decided to watch it.

I couldn’t agree more!

I mean the corporations are making a killing … literally because they finance the wars too!

And people are in need of a big change so they hear Trump and his brash ways and they blindly follow him.

His rallies are in some cases very volatile and fighting one another isn’t going to get us anywhere.

We need to stand united and demand change from the handlers.

And fighting a war with someone we are told is our enemy is also counterproductive to our goal of Peace on Earth!

Navajo Water Supply is More Horrific than Flint, But No One Cares Because they’re Native American

The news out of Flint, Michigan brought the issue of contaminated drinking water into sharp focus, as it was revealed that officials at every level—local, state and federal—knew about lead-poisoned water for months but did nothing to address the problem.

Under state-run systems like utilities and roads, poorer communities are the last to receive attention from government plagued by inefficiencies and corrupt politicians. Perhaps no group knows this better than Native Americans, who have been victimized by government for centuries.

In the western U.S., water contamination has been a way of life for many tribes. The advocacy group Clean Up The Mines! describes the situation in Navajo country, which is far worse than in Flint, Michigan.

Since the 1950’s, their water has been poisoned by uranium mining to fuel the nuclear industry and the making of atomic bombs for the U.S. military. Coal mining and coal-fired power plants have added to the mix.

The latest assault on Navajo water was carried out by the massive toxic spills into the Animas and San Juan rivers when the EPA recklessly attempted to address the abandoned Gold King mine.

Something is out of balance in Washington.

Corporations now spend about $2.6 billion a year on reported lobbying expenditures – more than the $2 billion we spend to fund the House ($1.18 billion) and Senate ($860 million). It’s a gap that has been widening since corporate lobbying began to regularly exceed the combined House-Senate budget in the early 2000’s.

Today, the biggest companies have upwards of 100 lobbyists representing them, allowing them to be everywhere, all the time.

For every dollar spent on lobbying by labor unions and public – interest groups together, large corporations and their associations now spend $34. Of the 100 organizations that spend the most on lobbying, 95 consistently represent business.

“Socialism for the rich, capitalism for the poor”

Corporate welfare is a term that analogizes corporate subsidies to welfare payments for the poor.

The term is often used to describe a government’s bestowal of money grants, tax breaks, or other special favorable treatment on corporations or selected corporations, and implies that corporations are much less needy of such treatment than the poor.

The term is used interchangeably with crony capitalism; to the extent that there is a difference, the corporate welfare might be restricted only to direct government subsidies of major corporations, excluding tax loopholes and all manner of regulatory and trade decisions, which in practice could be much larger than any direct subsidies.

The term, “Corporate Welfare“, was reportedly invented in 1956 by Ralph Nader; conservatives like Grover Norquist prefer “Crony capitalism“.

This is a short documentary film made by Spencer Cathcart questioning our freedom, the education system, corporations, money, the American capitalist system, the US government, world collapse, the environment, climate change, genetically modified food, and our treatment of animals.

I urge you to listen it the whole way through. If everyone in the world would hear every word in this video and then act upon their feelings the world would change overnight.

At this moment you can be anywhere, doing anything. Instead you sit alone before a screen.  So what is stopping us from doing what we want, being where we wanna be?

Each day we wake up in the same room, following the same path to live the same day as yesterday. Yet at one time, each day was a new adventure. Along the way something changed.  Before, our days were timeless, now our days are scheduled. Is this what it means to be grownup, to be free, but are we really free?  Food, water and land, the very elements we need to survive are owned by corporations.

If you try to take what earth provides you’ll be locked away, so we obey their rules.
