I AM BACK

Welcome autumn!

I was a wonderful week spent up north.

I took Angelika, my oldest grand child with me.

She had her “fall break”, not to be confused with “spring brake”.

This is the first time I heard about this kind of school brake.

We were visiting family and it was quality time for all.

I missed the blogosphere.

I missed all of you!

Now I’m back to the usual grind!!

NO WORRIES

All is good.

It’s only for a few days.

I’m going away with Angelika, my oldest grand-daughter.

She’s on “fall break” this coming week.

We will be going up north.

I will keep an eye on interesting postings from bloggers I follow but won’t be able to post myself unless it’s something very simple.

No computer access up there.

But I will be back.

CHRISTMAS WEATHER IN FLORIDA

This is where I life … in Florida.

Can’t really complain about our weather. No snow, no bitter cold. Can’t complain here. After a recent trip to Delaware (and we took our warm weather with us), my achy joints are really happy about this.

Here’s hoping that those in colder states and shoveling snow, have a better weather pattern this holiday season.

‘Blowtorch’ weather pattern may lead to warmest Christmas in memory

Residents in about half of the U.S. may experience their warmest Christmas Eve and Christmas Day in memory this year, as an El Niño-fueled December “blowtorch” weather pattern shows few signs of relenting.

Already this month, a whopping 5,608 warm temperature records had been set for the month so far, compared to just 188 cold temperature records for the same period.

FOR BLOODY MARY LOVERS

I traveled to Delaware this summer to visit family.

There’s a cool restaurant that serves the best chicken wings in the world.

We went there several times during our stay.

I was amazed to find the Bloody Mary version that they offer.

I was waiting for my relatives to send me the ingredients.

Here they are

I'm originally from Puerto Rico. I was born in Santurce and raised in Rio Piedras. I currently live in Florida - since 1999. I have a doctorate degree in Medicine; completed in 1976. My Internal Medicine specialty was completed in 1979. Worked for Puerto Rico's health system until 1985. At this time, I'm happily retired after working for the federal government for almost 28yrs. I also worked for the government of Puerto Rico from 1979 through 1985 .... for a total of almost 40 years as a physician. I want to offer any knowledge that I have to anyone "out there" who is interested. My views are liberal in almost every sense. My knowledge is "eclectic" - a bit of everything. Music and reading are my passion. Blogging has also become a very interesting endeavor. Metaphysical topics attract me. I'm interested in news - reporting human issues like injustice, discrimination and abuse - the "wrongly" affected. My intention is to bring this knowledge to an understandable level and to help anyone in need. I'm open to questions and will answer them to the best of my ability. Currently working on an enterprise whose main mission will be to bring peoples of all walks of life together. To be one .... since we ALL are ONE!! The future looks bright and promising!!!
