THANK YOU, EMINEM, FOR CALLING IT AS IT IS

I’ve truly never been a fan of rap music and Eminem hasn’t been one of my favorite performers. This time, IMHO, he’s plainly stated what many of Americans are feeling. It takes an artist to have the gall and balls to call out the ‘moronic idiot‘ who is leading the country.

Sure beats out the hell of a job those surrounding and enabling HIM to take this nation to the gutter, the spot it currently occupies, except in the minds of the IDIOTS who still support HIM.

It was time for someone to call it like it is.

I’m mad as hell!!

Thus far this week we’ve seen everyone from a Republican Senator to foreign leaders call out Drumpf for his, well, bullshit. But now one of the most devastating take-downs of Drumpf is coming from rapper Eminem – and it’s a moment you’ll want to pay attention to whether or not you’re a fan of Eminem or hip hop, because it nails Drumpf with a stunning level of detailed accuracy.

Eminem appears in a four minute video which first aired at the BET Awards on October 10, but has since been posted online. He starts off by quoting Drumpf’s “calm before the storm” line, but then proceeds to launch into his own blistering critique:

“We’d better give Obama props ’cause what we’ve got in office now a kamikaze that’ll probably cause a nuclear holocaust – and while the drama pops and he waits for shit to quiet down, he’ll just cast his plane up and fly around until the bombing stops.”

It gets more devastating from there, eviscerating Drumpf over his policies and his madness.

This is a huge crisis in Puerto Rico now.

The Island is financially broke.

The help it’s receiving from the “master” isn’t really helping.

It’s just setting the stage for continued pillage.

This may sound good but it really isn’t.

The House on Thursday passed a bill that would create a financial control board to help Puerto Rico handle its finances, and let the island restructure some of its $70 billion in debt. The bipartisan 297-127 vote marked a victory for House Speaker Paul Ryan, who had urged conservative fellow Republicans to help pass the bill to keep the crisis from deepening.

Puerto Rico is due to make a $2 billion debt payment in three weeks.

“The Puerto Rican people are our fellow Americans,” Ryan said. “They pay our taxes, they fight in our wars. We cannot allow this to happen.”

This “JUNTA’S” real purpose is to make sure that the debtors are paid.

No real interest in the benefits of progress of Puerto Rico and it’s people.

Vulture investors have descended on the commonwealth, taking advantage of a debt crisis that has impoverished citizens and created massive unemployment.

In many ways, the Puerto Rico situation is sui generis, resulting from a patchwork of laws and obligations on an entity that is not really a country and not really a U.S. state. But looked at another way, Puerto Rico is just the latest battlefield for a phalanx of hedge funds called “vultures,” which pick at the withered sinews of troubled governments.

In Greece, Argentina, Detroit, and now Puerto Rico, vultures have bought distressed debt on the cheap, and then used coercion, threats, and legal action to secure a massive windfall, compounding the effects on millions of citizens.

The legal wrangling masks an irony: As creditors demand that Puerto Rico pay back everything it owes, hedge fund managers have used the island as a tax haven to avoid their own responsibilities. Wealthy investors don’t just want to make money in Puerto Rico; they want to use their leverage to effectively buy an island playground.

FLINT WATER CRISIS … IN PICTURES

This is a total disaster. It’s definitely man-made at that.

It’s an effort to save costs by a governor who created the position of “emergency managers” in his state.

Greed, micro-management and lack of care has created this situation.

There’s a need to take immediate action.

The people of Flint can’t wait anymore. They have waited enough!

In 2014, the City of Flint switched its water supply from the City of Detroit (which had supplied it for nearly half a century) to the Flint River.

The move was an effort to save costs. It was viewed as a temporary fix prior to an ultimate switch to a permanent Flint water supply, which would be provided after the Karegnondi Water Authority‘s construction of a pipeline from Lake Huron, thereby eliminating Flint’s long-time dependence on Detroit city water.

On January 5, 2016, the city was declared to be in a state of emergency by the Governor of Michigan, Rick Snyder, before President Obama declared the crisis as a federal state of emergency, authorizing additional help from the Federal Emergency Management Agency and the Department of Homeland Security less than two weeks later.
