Bindi Irwin waltzes into perfection on Dancing With The Stars again

Can you improve on perfection?
It seems you can if you’re Bindi Irwin and the American TV network hosting Dancing With the Stars.
Already a favorite of viewers and judges, Irwin and her dance partner, Derek Hough, performed a traditional Viennese waltz to the song “Roses And Violets” on this week’s episode. Well, ok, “traditional” if blindfolds had been de rigueur on dance floors along the Danube 200 years ago, but this is not the time to quibble.
In any case, Irwin and Hough, didn’t just impress, they earned perfect tens from each of the judges who had been left gibbering in their wake.
The performance also secured her a place in next week’s semi-finals.
As one judge put it, “every week you’re so flawless” and another gushed that watching it had been like “watching a sunrise”. Luckily though the declaration from the third judge that the dance “spoke for itself”, didn’t quite hold, much to the relief of the show producers who still had some time to fill.

Those who have been keeping a Bindi eye on the competition so far, a perfect score is both rare, for others, and becoming commonplace for the daughter of the late Steve Irwin, who has received the honor three times now.
Bindi and Derek have won the top score in the competition seven out of the past nine weeks.
It isn’t that long ago that this pair earned perfect scores from the three regular judges and guest adjudicator Olivia Newton John, for a dance set to, and modeled on, “The Time Of My Life” from the film Dirty Dancing.
Breathless and beaming after her dance, and before the scores were announced, Irwin showed her shaking hands and said “this dance has meant so much and it’s so beautiful … that I can’t stop shaking when I’m doing it”.
Irwin thanked Hough via Instagram over the weekend.
“Even when I’m super tired he gives me strength and encourages me to keep trying my best and always believe. You’re the greatest big brother I could ever ask for,” she wrote.
Bindi and Derek danced a breathtaking Viennese Waltz to the song “Roses and Violets” by Alexander Jean (a duo group consisting of Mark Ballas and his girlfriend, BC Jean).
