Melania’s White House Christmas decorations have become a horror meme yet again

Your new holiday tradition: A Very Scary White House Christmas!

The White House has decked its halls for the holidays. And just like last year, its trimmings look more frightening than festive at first glance.

If you were one of many people who thought last year’s White House Christmas display was bizarrely ominous, moody lighting and barren tree skeletons looking like the backdrop of a horror movie – well, then, I can’t wait to hear what you think of the 2018 holiday look.

Melania reportedly spent months working on this year’s decorations, which she unveiled in a series of Monday morning tweets.

Perhaps determined to continue signaling disregard for her critics, Drumpf has repeated the idea of horror-tinged White-House decor in at least one corner of the place, lining an entire hallway with blood-red Christmas trees that immediately reminded gawkers on social media of fun holiday movies.

Like Stanley Kubrick’s Christmas classic The Shining!

‘The very first album of my whole life was Talking Book. My grandad – we called him Southside because he lived on the south side of Chicago, not very imaginative – loved music.

‘He was a carpenter and collected jazz. He had turntables all around the house and reel-to-reels. I used to go to his house and play with his dog called Rex – again, not very imaginative – and play music with him.’

During her Carpool jaunt, it’s likely Michelle will mention her upcoming trip around Liberia, Morocco and Spain to as part of her Let Girls Learn Initiative which fights against the fact there are 62 million girls around the globe who aren’t in school.

Yes, really.

The US President’s wife filmed the section yesterday on her way to the White House and announced the news through her Snapchat, according to Billboard.

It is without a doubt the biggest Carpool recruitment to date.

It looks like we can expect Late Late Show host James and Barack’s wife to croon along to at least one Stevie Wonder track as Michelle credits the singer for influencing her perspective on the world.

First Lady Michelle Obama broke it down on stage at the 137th annual White House Easter Egg Roll on Monday afternoon, dancing to Mark Ronson’s “Uptown Funk” with the “So You Think You Can Dance” All Stars.

She was on stage celebrating the fifth anniversary of her “Let’s Move!” campaign to battle childhood obesity, the theme of this year’s event with #GimmeFive. During her speech at the Easter Egg Roll, she encouraged healthy eating and an active lifestyle to the 35,000 White House guests.

It’s become more common for the First Lady to publicly dance in promotion of her campaign. Just last week she was “Mom Dancing” again on “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.” Before that, she’s been spotted dancing on “Ellen” and dancing “The Dougie” during a 2011 visit to Alice Dean Middle School.
