She has blossomed in front of our eyes.

We couldn’t take our eyes off of Simone Biles and Sasha Farber on Monday, May 15, Dancing with the Stars.

The duo danced a high-stepping Jive, set to “Faith” by Stevie Wonder and Ariana Grande, and worked with judge Carrie Ann Inaba for the performance.

Simone and Sasha earned 40 points, out of 40, from the judges.

During her video package, Simone opened up about the judges comments last week and how they did hurt her.

In a beautiful, tropical beach, on the southwest corner of Puerto Rico,

a young girl practices her gymnastic moves.

This movement was caught by the girl’s mother.

Even though it’s a still, it conveys the beauty of motion.

It’s a feeling of energy and physical ability.

The mother is my best friend, the daughter I never had.

The young girl is my grandniece.

There are an estimated 7.2 billion people on earth, of which we’ve labelled as humanity

in 36 years there will be an estimated 9.7 billion, as you can see, we’re increasing rapidly.

Roughly 3200 cities, 195 of which are capital

we’re destroying our planet just to make more areas habitable …..

The problem is our empathy, our lack of responsibility

we’re all guilty, we’re all filthy, we’re all riddled with impurity ……

This isn’t about me, this will never be about me, this is about the world that put us here and is begging us to see

because if we want to see the change then we have to be the change

sacrifice personal gain and gain world peace in exchange

~~A Simple Message for Humanity~~

Human activity is destroying the natural systems that we depend upon for our survival. Our most basic instinct as humans is to survive; yet we continue to destroy our life-support machine. Connected humans understand this terrible contradiction; disconnected humans are not able to.

Not all humans are responsible: just those who are part of Industrial Civilization. Industrial Civilization depends on economic growth and the unsustainable use of natural resources, so it has developed a complex set of tools for keeping people disconnected from the real world and living a life that keeps civilization running. Humans have been manipulated in order to be part of a destructive system.

Civilization is complex and delicate: it depends on everything running smoothly and also depends upon people having faith in its goodness. Global ecological systems are changing in unpredictable and major ways; natural resources are running out rapidly; the population is growing, particularly the population of urban areas; there is considerable political and civil unrest developing throughout the world: any combination of these factors are likely to lead to a sudden and catastrophic collapse of civilization during the 21st century.

There is so much division. There is so much conflict.

Our world, the only place we have to live in as one human race, is divided by so many borders. Borders which, at a distance, can’t be seen. Differences which are man-made. We come from the same Source. The similarities are divine, the differences are created and assigned by humans.

Looks like Jamie Dunmore came to America this summer …. and had a ball!! This video reminds me of what America can be. It portrays the beauty that is inherent in the country that we call America.

It shows wildlife, wilderness, cities, urban, country, facilities. It’s inspiring, serene. There’s great potential. Let’s work together to keep it this way …. the way Jamie saw and experienced it.

I'm originally from Puerto Rico. I was born in Santurce and raised in Rio Piedras. I currently live in Florida - since 1999. I have a doctorate degree in Medicine; completed in 1976. My Internal Medicine specialty was completed in 1979. Worked for Puerto Rico's health system until 1985. At this time, I'm happily retired after working for the federal government for almost 28yrs. I also worked for the government of Puerto Rico from 1979 through 1985 .... for a total of almost 40 years as a physician. I want to offer any knowledge that I have to anyone "out there" who is interested. My views are liberal in almost every sense. My knowledge is "eclectic" - a bit of everything. Music and reading are my passion. Blogging has also become a very interesting endeavor. Metaphysical topics attract me. I'm interested in news - reporting human issues like injustice, discrimination and abuse - the "wrongly" affected. My intention is to bring this knowledge to an understandable level and to help anyone in need. I'm open to questions and will answer them to the best of my ability. Currently working on an enterprise whose main mission will be to bring peoples of all walks of life together. To be one .... since we ALL are ONE!! The future looks bright and promising!!!
