CAN’T BURY US

Two months, after 49 souls were forcibly removed from this Earth, I find this graphic.

It brought to mind, the many times that humans in the LGBT community have been silenced.

How many have given their lives to bullying, violence, abuse, discrimination, murder?

It’s been proven over and over again, those voices may be silenced.

Yet, many more come out and take their place.

One goes away, another one takes its place.

Like seed, we can’t be buried.

AWESOME BUBBLE

For as long as we can celebrate

There are short moments,
When the whole world gets caught inside a bubble,
Made of the brightest gold.

Launching fireworks instead of missiles,
Taking shots with cameras not guns,
Giving gifts not bombs.

For a few days we forget how to hate,
Relearn love,
Live without fear for at least a while.

Dancing and cheering,
Laughing and singing,
Decorating and Playing.

Replace the dodging and screaming,
The crying and pleading,
The hiding and running.

Inside that bubble,
All is good,
For as long as we can celebrate,
We can be kind.

Human<Humanity
A single Human, alone and weak,
is unable to comprehend  the insignificance of its life.
But as a whole, Humanity, we are unmeasurable, overwhelming
filling space and time with our vivid existence.
We consume all other entities with our devastating force.
Embodied in thousands upon thousands of infinitesimal beings.

Humans.
We must remember that it is the human that makes up humanity.

So much beauty can be seen through your eyes.

So much beauty can be seen in the eyes.

The eyes are the windows to the soul.

Sometimes a miraculous thing happens.

The body ages,
And the skin crinkles like an old plastic bag.
And even though the body fades, the soul still fights on.
And the soul comes through the eyes.
And the most crinkled, faded old people will have the deepest eyes.

Sometimes deeper than any others.

Their soul comes through their eyes and draws everything in.

A Dragon’s Tale ….. “I Shall Rise Again”!!

A DRAGON’S TALE 

there was a little dragon he couldn’t blow a flame
for the poor dragon this was such a shame
every time he tried the flame it wasn’t there
a dragon without fire this was very rare

while walking through the woods he began to cry
spotted by a fairy who was passing by
dragon told the fairy is fire it had gone
he had lost his flame and fire he had none

don’t worry said the fairy i know what to do
i will wave my wand a cast a spell for you
she waved her magic wand  then dragons flame returned
to restore his flame was all he ever yearned

dragon he was happy and could blow a flame once more
a proper little dragon like he was before.
