Lin-Manuel Miranda gets naked with James Corden for wild Hair musical
As James Corden says:
“It’s one thing to be on a stage, air conditioning, Broadway, lights.
It’s another thing when people are shouting obscenities out of a window at you because they don’t get it.”
This is the high-stakes, make-or-break world of Crosswalk Theater, and Hamilton‘s Lin-Manuel Miranda got a taste of it.
For the big finale, Corden and Miranda did what no one thought they could do:
dance nude on the crosswalk.
“In the original production of Hair, the entire cast got naked, but both CBS and the state of California told us we can’t be nude in the crosswalk,” Miranda explained.
“Then again, people told me that Alexander Hamilton wasn’t a Puerto Rican rapper with beautiful brown eyes.”

James Corden invites Broadway superstar Lin-Manuel Miranda to star in his most challenging role yet – “Hair” performed in a real crosswalk on Beverly Boulevard at CBS.
Ed Sheeran followed the lead of Adele, Carly Rae Jepsen, Mariah Carey, and other musicians to recreate one of his hit songs using classroom instruments.
Sheeran joined Jimmy Fallon and The Roots on the February 27th’s episode of “The Tonight Show” for a performance of his smash single “Shape of You.”
The band used plastic xylophones, a melodica, ukulele, guiro, kazoo, and tambourine, as well as an apple-shaped shaker and blocks to recreate the radio staple. In addition to providing vocals, Sheeran also got his hand on an instrument of his own: the banana-shaped shaker.

It’s not looking as though relations between Donald Trump and China are going to get better any time soon.
Not only has Trump been crushing relations every which way with the nation since the start of his campaign, but now it looks as though China is letting us know what they think of him.
China’s Shanxi province has turned Trump into a giant rooster.
The giant “Trump Rooster” statue features a rooster that looks startlingly like the president-elect. It has his infamous hair, angry scowl on its face, and even has the same hand gestures.
Saturday Night Live couldn’t get enough of the presidential election in its season premiere this week. After a solid cold open sketch parodying the first debate, the show presented a political version of Family Feud that pitted Team Trump against Team Clinton.
Kellyanne Conway (Kate McKinnon), Ivanka Trump (Margot Robbie), Gov. Chris Christie (Bobby Moynihan) and Vladimir Putin (Beck Bennett) take on Bill Clinton (Darrell Hammond), Sarah Silverman (Melissa Villaseñor), Lin-Manuel Miranda (Cecily Strong) and Sen. Bernie Sanders (Larry David).

There was plenty of crazy material from the Republicans this week and in order to cover as much of their embarrassing antics as possible, NBC’s Saturday Night Live broke with their usual format and jammed four openings on their show last night.
The result was a series of hilarious and stinging skits.
SNL tackled Trump’s viral Super Tuesday victory speech in which New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie stands behind the Republican front-runner — an awkward moment that had Twitter wondering if Christie was being held hostage.
“The media is saying they haven’t seen anything like this, not since Germany in the 1930’s,” actor Darrel Hammond’s Donald Trump says alongside Bobby Moynihan’s timid Chris Christie. “I mean, everyone loves me. Racists. Ugly racists. People who didn’t even know they were racists … I even have this fat piece of crap behind me now.”
“I mean, he really is a sad, desperate little potato back there. Aren’t you Chris?” Hammond adds. “Yes, sir. Thank you, sir. Please, sir, may I have another?” Moynihan responds.
In another scene, Jason Sudeikis portrayed Mitt Romney to say how he probably didn’t change the minds of any Trump supporters after delivering his “aggressive, passionate, well measured anti-Trump speech.”
It all began with Beck Bennett as Jake Tapper when he hosted the week-in-review montage which highlighted Darrell Hammond as Donald Trump telling the world how great he his with a bewildered looking Chris Christie, played by Bobby Moynihan, staring in the background. Hammond-as-Trump said:
“I really am running the best campaign, aren’t I? The media’s saying they haven’t seen anything like this, not since Germany in the 1930’s. I mean, everyone loves me: racists, ugly racists, people who didn’t know they were racist.”
Then it was the hilarious Kate McKinnon playing Hillary Clinton giving a victory speech for her post-Super Tuesday victory:
“Thank you for trusting that I, Hillary Clinton, can bring this country together. Just like I brought these ten black people and one Muslim person together behind me tonight for this speech.”
Then it was Bennett-as-Tapper interviewing Ted Cruz, played by Taran Killam, but not before a warning for the audience that they were about to see Ted Cruz’s “whole face.” Asked about Thursday’s GOP debate, Killam-as-Cruz said:
“The debate was so much fun. I talked policy, I laid out my plan for America, and right at the end I ate a tiny, little white booger off my lip.”
Then finally Mitt Romney, played by Jason Sudeikis, joined Bennet-as-Tapper to discuss Donald Trump:
“For the last nine months, I’ve sat down and watched Donald Trump say something every day that was either racist or sexist. And we in the GOP … we do not say racist and sexist things; we imply them subtly over decades and decades of policy.”
Jake Tapper (Beck Bennett) covers the outcome of Super Tuesday, including Donald Trump (Darrell Hammond) and Hillary Clinton’s (Kate McKinnon) big wins, Ted Cruz’s (Taran Killam) second place showing and Mitt Romney’s (Jason Sudeikis) feud with Trump.

Texas was a sovereign state prior to negotiation annexation with the United States.
This history has affected the state’s politics and identity from the 19th century to the present, including its standing in the Confederacy in the Civil War to education and even tourism in the 20th century.
Modern secession efforts have existed in the state at least since the 1990’s, focusing first on the Republic of Texas organization founded by Richard Lance McLaren and later on the Texas Nationalist Movement headed by Daniel Miller.

When it won the Spanish-American War in 1898, the U.S. acquired Puerto Rico as a new “possession.” The American who led the invasion, Gen. Nelson A. Miles, promised “liberty” to Puerto Ricans. He also promised “prosperity” and “the advantages and blessings of enlightened civilization.”
This never occurred. Puerto Rico was stripped of her land and natural resources by U.S. banking syndicates.
By 1934, the theft was so extreme that Puerto Ricans organized an island-wide agricultural strike. In response to this strike the Yale-educated Chief of Police, whose father owned the Riggs National Bank, promised that “there will be war to the death against all Puerto Ricans.”
