RIP 10/13/18 Posted by Scorpion Sting on November 5, 2018
To all of my husband’s followers and to the friends he has made I thank you from the bottom of my heart and from his heart for coming to this site and his other sites. Many of you only knew my dear husband from this site and did not know the true person he was some even thought poorly of him but my husband was a very loving and dedicated father and an even more than loving spouse, soulmate and best friend to me.
This was his blogs and views and I love him for being him and not giving a fuck what others thought. Unfortunately this will be the last post – my loving husband passed away unexpectedly on October 13, 2018.
Our beautiful children and myself are grieving deeply for the wonderful person he was to us and writing this last post in his place is killing me on the inside but I needed to make sure everyone knew.
Didn’t follow regularly but he left an impression. His untimely death was a huge loss to his young family and the conservation movement.
It’s amazing to see how his legacy lives on through the work of his loving wife, Terri and his two enthusiastic and motivated children,
Bindi and Robert.
~‘Crikey!’ Irwin family continues dad’s legacy on Animal Planet~
Crikey! It’s the Irwins
In this new series, the family of late Animal Planet star Steve Irwin (“Crocodile Hunter”) continue his legacy of educating viewers about animals like koalas, snakes, crocodiles and more.
The series features Irwin’s daughter Bindi, 20, his son Robert, 14, and their mom Terri, 54.
“Crikey!” is filmed at the Irwin family’s zoo in Queensland, Australia. It will occasionally feature clips of Steve Irwin, who died after being stung by a stingray while filming a documentary in 2006.
After months of training, Robert steps into his father’s shoes to feed Graham – Australia Zoo’s most notorious crocodile – solo, in front of the entire Crocoseum!
Meanwhile, Bindi witnesses one of nature’s rarest events: Cedar the Koala is having twins!
Gun reform organization Change The Ref is raising awareness about 3D-printed guns with 3D printing technology of its own – a 3D-printed sculpture the group is calling “the first 3D activist” in a campaign created in collaboration with the agency Alma.
The sculpture is modeled after Joaquín Oliver, Marjory Stoneman Douglas shooting victim and son of Change The Ref founders Manuel and Patricia Oliver.
Entitled “Guac is Back,” the campaign is centered around a 3D sculpture of Joaquín holding a bouquet of flowers, in tribute to the Valentine’s Day gift for his girlfriend he was holding when he died.
The statue of Joaquín is wearing a pin which, when scanned with a smartphone, directs viewers to a website collecting signatures for a petition demanding action against 3D-printed guns and encourages visitors to register to vote.
An emotional video features Manuel Oliver explaining that his family fled gun violence in Venezuela to settle in the U.S. and that Joaquin himself was an activist.

Aretha Franklin sang “(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman” during a tribute to Carole King in 2015
“Carole was losing her mind, Obama was losing his mind,” said the Broadway actress Chilina Kennedy.
In her final decade, Aretha Franklin’s two best-loved performances both took place in Washington.
In 2009, she graced Barack Obama’s inauguration with a gorgeous “My Country, ’Tis of Thee” while wearing a hat so remarkable it ended up on display in the Smithsonian. And on Dec. 6, 2015, she sang an unforgettable rendition of her own anthem of rebirth, “(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman,” in tribute to the song’s co-writer, Carole King, who was receiving the Kennedy Center Honors for lifetime achievement alongside Rita Moreno, Cicely Tyson and other luminaries.

EL PUERTO RICO OLVIDADO
“Comparto con ustedes un poco de lo que hemos visto en el centro de Puerto Rico para cuando traten de venderles que todo se está normalizando sepan que no es cierto.”
“I’m sharing video of a bit of what we have seen as we traveled to the center of Puerto Rico. I do so because I want you to know that when they try to tell you that things are getting back to normal, you can see that they are not.”

On Wednesday, June 7th, we celebrate the birthday of one of the world’s most brilliant musical geniuses, Prince, so what better way to pay homage to what would have been the Purple One’s 59th birthday than with a musical tribute that takes stock of his greatest hits?
