Drumpf’s Campaign Is Asking Supporters to Vote on a Space Force Logo

Hours after Vice President Mike Pence outlined the Administration plans to create the Space Force – a proposed sixth military branch focused on space security – the Drumpf campaign sent out a mass email asking supporters to vote for a logo for the Space Force.

“Drumpf wants a SPACE FORCE  – a ground breaking endeavor for the future of America and the final frontier,” the email, signed by Drumpf’s 2020 campaign manager Brad Parscale, said. “As a way to celebrate Drumpf’s huge announcement, our campaign will be selling a new line of gear. But first we have to make a final decision on the design we will use to commemorate Drumpf’s new Space Force- and he wants YOU to have a say”.

The Space Force would be the first new military branch since the Air Force was created in 1947 and would be meant to be equal to the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines and Coast Guard.

Vice President Pence said the Space Force would take over already existing space operations and transferring employees. Vice President Pence said the Administration would want the branch up and running by 2020.

But, it faces one big obstacle – the Space Force would need approval from Congress before it could become a new military branch.

American Idiot is the seventh studio album by American rock band Green Day. Produced by Rob Cavallo, the album was released in the UK on September 20, 2004 and in the US on September 21, 2004 by Reprise Records.

When my band Green Day released our album American Idiot almost 13 years ago, we knew we were lobbing a grenade into the lap of the culture. With the fallout from 9/11 and the Iraq War revealing deep divisions in American society, our confrontational lyrics and attitude clearly touched a nerve, if our 15 million records sold are any indication. Oh, the things ‘so-called President’ Drumpf will be greeted with this week when he visits London: demonstrators, a giant “Trump Baby” balloon – and a uniquely British musical protest.
For the past couple of weeks, a social media campaign has sought to make Green Day‘s classic 2004 jam “American Idiot” the No. 1 tune in the UK by the time Drumpf arrives Friday, July 13.

The “Get American Idiot to No.1 for Drumpf’s UK Visit” Facebook page has been advocating for some type of musical protest during a Drumpf visit to Britain pretty much since the start of his presidency. After Drumpf’s “working visit” – as opposed to a formal state visit – was announced in April, the effort went into overdrive.

ON TAKING THE FIFTH AMENDMENT

The Fifth Amendment (Amendment V) to the United States Constitution is part of the Bill of Rights and, among other things, protects individuals from being compelled to be witnesses against themselves in criminal cases.

“Pleading the Fifth” is thus a colloquial term for invoking the right that allows witnesses to decline to answer questions where the answers might incriminate them, and generally without having to suffer a penalty for asserting the right.

~Michael Cohen asserts Fifth Amendment rights in Stormy Daniels case~

Michael Cohen, the longtime personal attorney for President Drumpf, filed court papers Wednesday, April 25, indicating he would assert his Fifth Amendment rights against self-incrimination regarding his involvement in a hush money deal involving porn star Stormy Daniels and the ‘so-called’ President.

Cohen filed the declaration as part of an effort to have a civil lawsuit filed by Daniels put on hold.

The judge in that case said last week that he needed to hear from Cohen directly before deciding on that request.
Michael Avenatti, Daniels’ attorney, called Cohen’s declaration “a stunning development.”

The plan had been for Vice President Mike Pence to attend the Indianapolis Colts game at which Peyton Manning’s number was to be retired, a gala celebration of the former Colts quarterback’s contributions to Pence’s home state.

The former governor of Indiana and his wife, wearing a Manning No. 18 jersey, left Lucas Oil Stadium after the national anthem, following instructions from Drumpf after a number of San Francisco 49ers players, as they usually do, took a knee during the anthem.

“I asked @VP Pence to leave stadium if any players kneeled,” Drumpf posted on Twitter. “I am proud of him and @SecondLady Karen.”

The first rule of blatant political stunts is not to let on that they are blatant political stunts.

Pence was acting not out of spontaneous patriotism but out of blind loyalty to a president who reduces everyone around him to a sleazy character on a reality TV show.
