Just after midnight on August 31, 1997, news began to surface of a car crash involving the most-photographed and obsessed-over woman of her time:
Princess Diana.
Her tragic death at age 36 would send shock waves around the globe, and even 19 years later, it remains one of the major news events of the modern age.
Those who have stopped by and those who have followed this blog know that I always end every post with: “We ALL are ONE“. I strongly believe we all are connected. I also believe in the legend of the red thread and because of this, we all are one.
This is a new inspiring video, created to remember and honor the memory of Tyler Blaine Genneken, who died too soon.
The words are so powerful …. they can inspire ALL to be better and do something.
THIS MESSAGE CAN’T BE LOST. NEEDS TO BE SHARED.
YOU ARE ONE.
You are unique. You are important. You are special.
One song can spark a moment. One flower can wake the dream. One tree can start a forest. One bird can herald spring. One smile begins a friendship. On handclasp lifts a soul. On star can guide a ship at sea. One word can set the goal.
One vote can change a nation. One sunbeam can light a room. On candle wipes out the darkness. One laugh will conquer gloom. One step must start each journey. One word must start each prayer.
One hope will raise our spirits. One touch can show you care. On voice can speak with wisdom. One heart can know what’s true. One life can make a difference.

Tyler Blaine Genneken was the inspiration in making this video. Tyler was a young boy in our community in Indiana, who was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia in the Summer of 2006. After a 40 month battle with Cancer, sadly he passed away. He was 14 years old. Before Tyler died, his story and his request that others help him fight Cancer, resulted in hundreds of units of blood being donated, and more than 2,000 people joining “Be The Match” (the national bone marrow registry). He is a Hero.
