DONALD TRUMP SUGGESTS CLINTON’S BODYGUARDS “DISARM IMMEDIATELY” AND “SEE WHAT HAPPENS TO HER”

Yet another installment in the conservative gun rights fear-mongering saga

Another day, another not-quite-threat from Donald Trump.

At a campaign rally on Friday, September 16, the Republican presidential candidate said that Hillary Clinton’s bodyguards should “disarm immediately” and “see what happens.”

“She goes around with armed bodyguards like you have never seen before,” he said at the Miami, Florida, rally, according to The New York Times.

“I think that her bodyguards should drop all weapons. They should disarm.

Right? Right?

I think they should disarm immediately.

What do you think? Yes? Yes. Yeah. Take their guns away. She doesn’t want guns. Let’s see what happens to her.

Take their guns away, okay?

It would be very dangerous.”

Granted, people who possess great political power are always targets for the disillusioned, but this isn’t the first time Trump has insinuated gun violence against his opponent AGAIN.

Although the Second Amendment people, maybe there is.”

Donald Trump set off a fierce new controversy Tuesday, August 9, with remarks about the right to bear arms that were interpreted by many as a threat of violence against Hillary Clinton.

“Hillary wants to abolish – essentially abolish the Second Amendment.

By the way, if she gets to pick, if she gets to pick her judges, nothing you can do, folks. Although the Second Amendment people, maybe there is, I don’t know,” Trump said.

He added:

“But I tell you what, that will be a horrible day, if Hillary gets to put her judges in, right now we’re tied.”

Trump’s ambiguous comments alarmed some political observers as to whether he was threatening her life or calling for increased political activity.

ESCALATING VIOLENCE

As we all know by now, a Trump rally in Chicago that was cancelled on Friday, March 11, 2016.

The presidential candidate has stated that the event was cancelled because of fear of people being hurt.

Much more information and comments have come after that incident.

I already posted something related to this event.

However, I’m covering this event again because I found Rachel Maddow’s presentation from Friday night which shows how the atmosphere and the animus of the general public came to this.

Please, bear with me.

As I looked through the blogs I follow, Trump seems to be the topic of the day.

I’ve told myself that I won’t dedicate time to this clown yet, here I am again. Doing precisely what I didn’t want to do.

My main reason and intention is to show Rachel Maddow’s presentation:
