Drumpf said he plans to change libel laws in the United States so that he can have an easier time suing news organizations.
During an interview with ABC’s This Week on Sunday, April 30, about the Drumpf’s first 100 days in office, the White House chief of staff, Reince Priebus, remarked that “newspapers and news agencies need to be more responsible with how they report the news.”
When asked whether the Drumpf administration wants to change laws to allow the President to sue the press, Priebus responded:

Drumpf is marking his first 100 days as President of the United States, and he is not off to a great start for LGBT equality.
The Republican Presidential candidate took office in January following an electoral college victory over Hillary Clinton, who won 3 million more ballots in the popular vote than Drumpf overall.
Drumpf was once considered a moderate on LGBT rights, but since he took power in January, there has been a rapid shift in policy on LGBT issues.
GLAAD (formerly the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation) is a U.S. non-governmental media monitoring organization founded by LGBT people in the media. Before March 2013, the name “GLAAD” had been an acronym for “Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation”, but became the primary name due to its inclusiveness of bisexual and transgender issues.
Its stated mission, in part, is to “amplify the voice of the LGBT community by empowering real people to share their stories, holding the media accountable for the words and images they present, and helping grassroots organizations communicate effectively.”

Since the moment Drumpf won the 2016 election, GLAAD’s main priority has been to hold the incoming administration accountable on any potential anti-LGBTQ policies it may try to enforce.
From erasing any mentions of LGBTQ Americans from government websites to deleting LGBTQ people from the upcoming 2020 U.S. Census, Drumpf and his administration have proven to us that they are no friends of LGBTQ Americans and in fact are trying to remove us from the fabric of this nation.
The American Civil Liberties Union has attracted Hollywood’s biggest stars for a fundraiser.
“Stand for Rights: A Benefit for the ACLU” which will stream on Facebook Live on March 31 and be filmed live in New York.
“In these tumultuous times, we need our favorite actors, musicians, and comedians to do what they do best. Speak earnestly about politics? No!
Entertain you for a great cause?
Yes!” the Facebook event reads.
Celebrities including Tina Fey, Tom Hanks, Alec Baldwin, Tracy Morgan, Ellie Kemper, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Tituss Burgess, Jane Krakowski, Jon Hamm and Mahershala Ali will all make appearances to raise money for the organization.
The Congressional Budget Office report on Trumpcare is out, and it’s devastating: 14 million people losing insurance in the first year, 24 million over time, with premiums soaring for older, lower-income Americans — in many cases, the very people who went strongly for President Trump.
The C.B.O. thinks it would reduce the deficit, but only marginally, around $30 billion a year in a $19 trillion economy.
Obamacare imposes a mandate to induce healthy people to sign up, offers means-tested subsidies to make insurance affordable and expands Medicaid to take care of people with really low incomes. Trumpcare eliminates the mandate, slashes subsidies overall and redirects them to those who don’t need them and sharply cuts Medicaid.
Of course that leads to a huge drop in coverage.

Immigration Agents Discover New Freedom to Deport Under Drumpf
The Drumpf Republican administration’s far-reaching plan to arrest and deport vast numbers of undocumented immigrants has been introduced in dramatic fashion over the past month.
And much of that task has fallen to thousands of ICE officers who are newly emboldened, newly empowered and already getting to work.
Gone are the Obama-era rules that required them to focus only on serious criminals.
Drumpf campaigned on deporting 2 million to 3 million undocumented immigrants
“What we are going to do is get the people that are criminal and have criminal records, gang members, drug dealers, where a lot of these people, probably 2 million, it could be even 3 million, we are getting them out of our country or we are going to incarcerate,” Drumpf told “60 Minutes” correspondent Lesley Stahl, according to a preview of the interview released by CBS.
“But we’re getting them out of our country. They’re here illegally.”
