THE IMPORTANCE OF SPANISH IN THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE
I have to keep this post in Spanish.
There’s no way that it would make sense in translation.
Basically it’s stating all the Spanish words that have made their way into the English vernacular.
However, if you look at the list of words, you may be able to understand.
These are Spanish words which are almost daily use in an English conversation.

¿HISPANISMOS?
Sé que si estoy hablando español y utilizo alguna palabra en inglés, a eso le dicen “ANGLICISMOS”.
PERO si un gringo esta hablando inglés y utiliza alguna palabra en español …… ¿COMO SE LE LLAMA A ESO?
No sé, aqui le llamaremos “HISPANISMOS”.
Parece que los “HISPANISMOS” están de moda en EE.UU., su avance es imparable. En la TV de ese país se presentó una investigación del idioma inglés que HOY hablan los estadounidenses. Ha sido nutrido por palabras y expresiones del francés, alemán, italiano, chino, etc. PERO cuando van a revelar las influencias de nuestro idioma, dicen: “INCLUDING THE ONE FOREIGN LANGUAGE YOU PROBABLY SPEAK MORE THAN ANY OTHER: SPANISH” (“incluyendo la lengua extranjera que probablemente tu hablas más que ninguna otra: ESPAÑOL”).
