THANKFUL TO THIS DAY OF HIS LEADING EXAMPLE

If you go back in time and realize the overall atmosphere and environment around the LGBTQ community in this nation, you will realize the Harvey Milk was a groundbreaking figure.

To this day, his effect is still felt.

More so in the 2018 midterm elections when a significant number of LGBTQ candidates achieved their goal of being elected to the post they were running for.

“It’s not my victory, it’s yours and yours and yours”

Harvey Milk said after winning a seat on the San Francisco Board of Supervisors in late 1977.

“If a gay can win, it means there is hope that the system can work for all minorities if we fight. We’ve given them hope.”

A year after delivering that speech and making history as the first openly gay elected official in California – and one of the first in the country – Milk was gunned down at San Francisco City Hall on Nov. 27, 1978.

He was just 48.

But during his short time in office, Milk made his mark. He helped to pass the country’s first gay rights ordinance, which sparked the legal LGBTQ-rights revolution that has since resulted in a nationwide right to same-sex marriage and an increasing number of LGBTQ-rights protections in cities and states across the country.
Milk also undoubtedly inspired future generations of LGBTQ Americans to enter politics.

Earlier this month, 40 years after his death and decades after his history-making election, a record-breaking “rainbow wave” of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender Americans followed in his footsteps by running for office and winning.

His war on Yemen kills children. America helps him in his war. Drumpf believes that even though his friend’s war kills children and his friend had an American resident assassinated, America should continue supporting him because he buys American weapons with which to wage his war.

It’s a lot of money, though not as much as Drumpf claims.

He lies, as if it’s okay.

If it’s a lot of money it justifies the murder of innocent children and a man living supposedly under the protection of the USA.

Sculpture Coralarium Where Land, Sea and Art collide Fairmont Hotel, Sirru Fen Fushi, Maldives The Sculpture Coralarium is situated in the centre of the largest developed coral lagoon in the Maldives, on the island resort of Fairmont Sirru Fen Fushi.

The artwork by Jason deCaires Taylor is a semi-submerged tidal gallery space that exhibits a series of sculptural artworks on the skyline, inter-tidal waterline and seabed. As world’s first semi submerged tidal Art Gallery it is cube shaped, six metres tall, with its front façade submerged up to median tide of three metres.

The design of the walls is based on natural coral structures and is porous to allow the tides, current and marine life to pass through and the structure to “breathe” within its location.

Sculpture Coralarium Where Land, Sea and Art collide Fairmont Hotel, Sirru Fen Fushi, Maldives

Born in 1974 to an English father and Guyanese mother, Taylor grew up in Europe and Asia, where he spent much of his early childhood exploring the coral reefs of Malaysia. Educated in the South East of England, Taylor graduated from the London Institute of Arts in 1998 with a BA Honors in Sculpture and went on to become a fully qualified diving instructor and underwater naturalist.

With over 18 years diving experience under his belt, Taylor is also an award winning underwater photographer, famous for his dramatic images, which capture the metamorphosing effects of the ocean on his evolving sculptures.

SAINT MARIA MAGDALENA de PAZZIS

Santa María Magdalena de Pazzis Cemetery is a colonial-era cemetery located in Old San Juan, Puerto Rico.

It is the final resting place of many of Puerto Rico’s most prominent natives and residents.

(Notice one of them: Félix Benítez Rexach)

Construction began in 1863 under the auspices of Ignacio Mascaro.

The cemetery is located outside the walls of Fort San Felipe del Morro fortress, one of the island’s most famous landmarks. The average height of the wall is 40 feet and the width ranges from 15 to 20 feet.

It was named in honor of Saint Maria Magdalena de Pazzi.

It bothers me and makes me quite angry.

I can’t understand why there’s nothing or no one who can stop the idiocy that comes out of the mouth of that FIDIOT!!

The thing is that he’s showing his true colors.

CNN’s Brooke Baldwin Fiercely Defends Black Female Journalists After Drumpf’s Outbursts

The CNN anchor stood up for White House reporters April Ryan, Abby Phillip and Yamiche Alcindor, and called for respect from the ‘so-called’ president.

The targets of ‘so-called’ President Trumpf’s worst outbursts this week were black female reporters, and CNN’s Brooke Baldwin has joined the numerous journalists eviscerating him for it.

On the air Friday, the CNN anchor defended the women the president berated.

They included White House correspondent April Ryan, whom Drumpf called “nasty” and “a loser”; Abby Phillip, who Drumpf said “asks a lot of stupid questions” after she asked him about the Russia investigation; and PBS News Hour’s Yamiche Alcindor, whom Drumpf called “racist” for asking him about nationalism.

The journalists later spoke out about being subjected to Drumpf’s insults.

Baldwin described the women as “consummate professionals.

A-grade.”

“They can take these insults. They don’t need me sticking up for them,” Baldwin said. “But still, there is something so wrong with this. It is beyond disturbing. It is ugly, and I’m angry.”

To all of my husband’s followers and to the friends he has made I thank you from the bottom of my heart and from his heart for coming to this site and his other sites.   Many of you only knew my dear husband from this site and did not know the true person he was some even thought poorly of him but my husband was a very loving and dedicated father and an even more than loving spouse, soulmate and best friend to me.

This was his blogs and views and I love him for being him and not giving a fuck what others thought. Unfortunately this will be the last post – my loving husband passed away unexpectedly on October 13, 2018.

Our beautiful children and myself are grieving deeply for the wonderful person he was to us and writing this last post in his place is killing me on the inside but I needed to make sure everyone knew.
