‘Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again’

IT BRINGS JOY TO MY HEART

To say that I’m an ardent fan of Mamma Mia isn’t enough.

First of all I love ABBA.

They were one of the musical groups of my time.

I ‘grew up’ listening to their music.

Time went by and the first movie came along. I couldn’t have enough of it. I’ve lost count of how many times I went to the theater to watch it. I even went to the ‘sing-a-long’ version.

Then the DVD came out and, of course, I ordered it.

Meryl Streep impressed me. So did the other members of the cast.

Well, of course I saw the prequel/sequel.

I loved it!!

Even learned about ABBA songs that I hadn’t heard. 

The story line, acting, the music, the photography, the colors … all of it, joyful, fun, heartwarming!!

The Youtuber Sam Tsui has come out as gay, a day before he married his partner.

Tsui, who is best known for posting his music videos and covers of popular songs on his channel, revealed the details about his personal life for the first time in a vlog on Friday.

In a vlog, which he labelled an understated “coming out video of a sort”, Tsui announced he is in a long-term relationship with fellow YouTuber and musician Casey Breves.

I have been following these two guys on YouTube. Their music has always fascinated me. Plenty of times I have posted a new video by either one of them or the two together.

I was surfing the net on my smartphone and found a video called ‘This Promise‘ which I hadn’t seen.

Much to my surprise it was their wedding ceremony!

Amazing!

So touching and so heartwarming.

It’s already been one year, so happy belated anniversary!

Back in 2007, Bon Jovi performed a stripped-down rendition of Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah” – and it’s been seen by more than 43 million people ever since!

He sings it with such emotion, it’s hard not to tear up and press repeat over and over and over again.

It seems every performer likes to put their own spin on the classic song. Bon Jovi’s version is more raw but just as compelling.

It doesn’t hurt that the song and its lyrics are pure genius.

Angelina Green, a 13-year-old from Miami, Florida, proved her singing chops on an early July episode of “America’s Got Talent.”

In doing so, the young talent earned the final coveted golden buzzer, which means she’ll be sent straight through to the show’s live semifinals.

When judge Heidi Klum asks Green what she’ll be performing, Green explains, “Well, I’ve been singing since forever, but I took it seriously when my parents got divorced and it was really hard for me.

And music helped me so much.”

As the music starts, Green launches into a jaw-dropping rendition of The Pretenders’ 1994 hit, “I’ll Stand By You.”

As Green reaches the chorus, the crowd watching her stands to its feet.
