MANY MOONS AGO …. A BLAST FROM THE PAST
Once upon a time, there was a seven year old girl whose Mother had a heart condition. The Mom needed open heart surgery. At the time, these procedures were a big deal. Not common at all, they were quite risky.
The girl’s Father had no other option but to leave the little girl with the closest family she had. Her Uncle Manolo (Dad’s brother) and herTiti Nilda (Manolo’s wife). The older child is Carmin, the little girl’s cousin.
For the time the little girl was there, she found siblings and a lot of love. It was as if she had never left home.
The little girl’s Mom recovered totally and the girl went back to her own family. Her daily routine was resumed but she carried with her the love of another family which would always hold a huge place in her heart.
