The 3rd Insight begins a new view of life. It defines the physical universe as one of pure energy, an energy that somehow responds to how we think. We start to get acquainted with the subtle energy that infuses all things. With practice, we can learn to see the aura around any living being and to project your own energy around it to give it strength.
~~THE STRUGGLE FOR POWER~~
The 4th Insight exposes the human tendency to “steal” energy from other humans, taking over their minds – something in which we engage because we so often feel depleted of energy and cutt off.
An unconscious competition for energy underlies all conflicts. By dominating or manipulating others, we get the extra energy we think we need. Sure, it feels good – but both parties are damaged in the conflict.
The 5th insight: The key to overcoming conflict in the world is the mystical experience, which is available to everyone. To nurture the mystical and build our energy, we allow ourselves to be filled with a sense of love. Insecurity and violence ends when we experience an inner connection with divine energy within, a connection described by mystics of all traditions. A sense of lightness — buoyancy — along with the constant sensation of love are measures of this connection. If these measures are present, the connection is real. If not, it is only pretended.
~~CLEARING THE PAST~~
The 6th insight: Childhood traumas block our ability to fully experience the mystical. All humans, because of their upbringing, tend toward one of four control dramas:
Intimidators steal energy from others by threat. Interrogators steal it by judging and questioning. Aloof people attract attention (and energy) to themselves by playing coy. Poor me’s make us feel guilty and responsible for them.
Become aware of the family dynamics that created your control drama and you can focus on your essential question, which is how to make of your life a higher- level synthesis of your parents’ lives.
CLEARING THE PAST is a precise process of becoming aware of the individual’s ways of controlling which were learned in childhood. Once this habit is transcended, we can find our higher selves and evolutionary identities.
~~ENGAGING THE FLOW~~
The 7th insight: Once cleared of traumas, we can build energy through contemplation and meditation, focus on coincidences, all guiding us in the direction of our own evolution and transformation.This explains how to interpret dreams & compare them to the story of our life. This insight deals with the process of knowing ourselves. We need to stay alert to every coincidence provided by the Universe. We have many intuitive thoughts. Awareness mysteriously come from people & dreams. We must take an observer position to identify the signs.
~~THE INTERPERSONAL ETHIC~~
The 8th insight: This evolution can’t be done alone, so begin to practice the new “Interpersonal Ethic” by uplifting those who cross your path. Talk to people who make spontaneous eye contact with you. Avoid co-dependent relationships. Be there for people. Call attention to other people’s control dramas. In groups, speak when the spirit (instead of the ego) moves you.
In general, humans will learn using energy in a new way and will learn how to relate to others, avoiding relationships that “steal” energy rather than give. Control dramas will be identified to brake through them all w/ the intention to project energy to others.
By seeing beauty in every face, we lift others into their wisest self and increase the chances of hearing a synchronistic message.
~~THE EMERGING CULTURE~~
The 9th insight: Our purpose here is to evolve beyond this plane. Fewer people (a result of reproductive abstinence) and more old-growth forests will help us to sustain our energy and accelerate our evolution. Technology will do most of our work for us. As we begin to value spiritual insight more and more, we will pay those who bring it to us, and this will eventually replace the market economy and our need for paid employment. We can connect to God’s energy in such a way that we will eventually become beings of light and walk straight into heaven.
Western beliefs can be integrated with Eastern beliefs into a higher truth. These Insights show that the West is correct in maintaining that life is about progress and about evolving toward something higher. Yet, the East is also correct in emphazising that we must let go of controlling with the ego. We have to attain a fuller consciousness, an inner connection with God because only then can our evolution toward something better can be guided by a higher part of ourselves. The end goal is to fuse both views into one – an improved belief system.
