When French figure skaters Vanessa James and Morgan Cipres teamed up to vie for first place in the International Skating Union’s World Team Trophy 2017 competition in Japan, they blew away the competition and left fans marveling at their routine.

The duo have developed a bond on the ice that allows Vanessa to completely trust Morgan when he is flipping and spinning her around. The two are able to incorporate amazing partner work in their routines because of this.

For the competition in Japan, they skated to Disturbed’s rendition of Simon & Garfunkel’s classic hit “The Sound of Silence.” Their synchronized skating and perfectly performed stunts matched magically to the music.

The mellow, almost eerie song coupled with their all black costumes lend a melancholy feel to what actually is a vibrant and stunning ice skating routine.

Their initial spinning jump is executed perfectly in tandem.

Oprah Winfrey was the recipient of the Golden Globes‘ annual Cecil B. DeMille Award for Lifetime Achievement, and gave a powerful acceptance speech during Sunday night’s ceremony. She was introduced by Reese Witherspoon, who compared their time together on the set of A Wrinkle in Time to a master class at Harvard Business School and a spiritual retreat all in one.

“Oprah’s hugs could end wars, solve world peace,” Witherspoon joked.

Once Winfrey took the stage, she delivered an inspirational, uplifting speech which discussed race and gender and the fight for equality. She also told the story of Recy Taylor, a woman who fought for justice in the Jim Crow era after she was raped.

“For too long, women have not been heard or believed if they dare speak the truth to the power of those men,” Winfrey said, bringing the audience to its feet.

“But their time is up.

Their time is up.”

Twelve-year-old ventriloquist Darci Lynne Farmer was named the winner of America’s Got Talent’s 12th season on Wednesday night (Sept. 20), edging out 10-year-old singer Angelica Hale, who came in second place.

I finally caught up today!

I have been following this young girl since she first appeared in the AGT’s auditions and Mel B pressed the Golden Buzzard.

This child is amazing.

She’s very talented in so many ways. She sings (with her mouth closed, she’s a ventriloquist) and her charisma fills the room. Her performance in the quarter finals was so cute and incredible.

~Millions Of People Are Floored When Bon Jovi Sings “Hallelujah”~

Back in 2007, Bon Jovi performed a stripped-down rendition of Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah” – and it’s been seen by more than 43 million people ever since!

He sings it with such emotion, it’s hard not to tear up and press repeat over and over and over again.

It seems every performer likes to put their own spin on the classic song. Bon Jovi’s version is more raw but just as compelling.

It doesn’t hurt that the song and its lyrics are pure genius.

I’ve started watching ‘America’s Got Talent‘.

This is my second season. It’s a refreshing surprise to watch his man, a sad clown with a golden voice perform.

It made my life better then.

I’m looking forward for more performances from him.

PUDDLES PITY PARTY’S GOLDEN VOICE IMPRESSED AMERICA’S GOT TALENT JUDGES

Much to the bemusement of the judges and everybody in the audience, Puddles stepped in front of the mic as he usually does, with his giant suitcase and lantern. When pressed for some background info from the judges, he maintained the silent character he always has, only making a sound when he began his performance of Sia’s “Chandelier”.

Of course, he nailed the performance as he always does, but this TV appearance gave us something we’ve never really seen from Puddles before: genuine emotion. His singing is always poignant, but his character is just that: a character.

He’s a sad clown, but when he heard the enthusiastic applause following his big break, he got actually emotional in a real human way, tears running down his face and everything.
