On the Monday, October 23 episode, the celebrities were tasked with performing routines that captured the spirit of various movie genres. Adding to the fun, Shania Twain joined as a guest judge – and yes, she was just as bubbly and nice as you expected.

Top prize wemt Lindsey Stirling and Mark Ballas, whose sci-fi Argentine tango was literally perfection. Mark played a mad scientist and Lindsey was his cyborg female creation. Len thought the choreography was “phenomenal” and the dancing was “brilliant.” Bruno then declared it the best dance of the season.

They got a perfect 40.

I have been a Denzel Washington fan for a long time. I also like movies that have a story line and a plot full of action and twists that keep you on your toes and surprise you. I like a story that keeps you on the edge of your seat!

Action, crime, thriller

If you enjoy this kind of movie, I wholeheartedly suggest that you don’t miss this one. It’s an action, suspense, thriller that will keep your interest throughout the complete running time. 

The Equalizer is an American television series that ran for four seasons, initially on CBS from early fall 1985 to late spring of 1989. It stars Edward Woodward as a middle aged retired intelligence officer with a mysterious past who helps people in trouble. The show mixes ingredients from popular spy films, and private investigator shows with violent realism.

A film adaptation starring Denzel Washington was released in September 2014.

The Equalizer is a 2014 American action thriller film directed by Antoine Fuqua and written by Richard Wenk, based on the television series of same name, which starred Edward Woodward.

The film stars Denzel Washington, Marton Csokas, Chloë Grace Moretz, David Harbour, Haley Bennett, Bill Pullman, and Melissa Leo.

Principal photography began in June 2013 on location and took place in different cities of Massachusetts. This was the first film to have Village Roadshow Pictures co-finance the deal with Sony Pictures Entertainment since Saving Silverman in 2001. The film was premiered at 2014 Toronto International Film Festival on September 7, 2014, and released worldwide on September 26.

Denzel Washington plays McCall, a middle aged retired intelligent officer who believes he has put his Special Forces past behind him and dedicated himself to beginning a new, quiet life. But when McCall meets Teri (Chloë Grace Moretz), a young girl under the control of violent Russian gangsters, he can’t stand idly by — he has to help her.

Armed with hidden skills that allow him to serve vengeance against anyone who would brutalize the helpless, McCall comes out of his self-imposed retirement and finds his desire for justice reawakened. If someone has a problem, if the odds are stacked against them, if they have nowhere else to turn, they call the Equalizer.
