Streisand revealed that she’d failed her written driver’s test three times while attempting to get her license renewed

“I was so nervous, a little bit like I am now because I have you in the car,” she told Corden. She also said that she hasn’t been driving a lot lately because her mind “is twirling” and she recently found herself driving the wrong way on the highway. “This is not what I need to hear right now,” her fellow passenger jokes.

“I thought, ‘That’s it, I’m not driving anymore,'” she said, adding, “But you’re lucky.”

“If this is how I go out, I’ll take it,” Corden jokes. “Corden died at the hands of Barbra Streisand. ‘Is she OK?’ She’s fine, thank god.”

When asked about the current political climate and how she’s coping, Streisand explained that that’s why she created the album, which is fittingly titled Walls.

I’ve loved ABBA since they appeared on the musical scene. I followed the ascent to stardom in this nation.

I’ve been an ardent fan of Cher. There’s no question she’s an amazing performer.

I love Ellen and her resilience.

Cher – the 72-years-young song priestess – has just released another track from her upcoming dance album, “Dancing Queen.”

And. It. Is. Everything.

After releasing “Gimme Gimme Gimme” earlier this month, Cher has graced us with “SOS,” another gem from her September 28 album of Cher-inspired covers of ABBA hits.

After filming her role in “Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again” – which included her version of “Fernando” – Cher was said to have been bitten by the ABBA bug.

The dance-filled album will contain 10 new Cher-styled ABBA covers, including some of the group’s biggest hits, including “Waterloo” and “Dancing Queen.”

In music as in life, the things that make us different make us stronger. All the various instruments, tones, perspectives, and cultures in this recording combine to create a new version of this classic Songs Around The World.

The idea was born a few years ago during breakfast at the Byron Bay Bluesfest in Australia. Our friend and drummer, Peter Bunetta, introduced me to Tom Johnston of The Doobie Brothers and we talked about taking “Listen to the Music” around the world. We started the track with an acoustic guitar demo played to a click track and then added bass from Colombia, tablas and veena from India, and then headed to the Redwood Forest in Northern California to record and film Tom Johnston live outside. We then recorded and filmed Patrick Simmons and John McFee playing along to the track in a park in San Diego. The journey then continued throughout North and South America, Europe, The Middle East, Asia, and Africa. This final version features 30 musicians from 12 countries united through their love of music.

P!nk has long been an open book. The high-flying pop star has never shied away from exposing who she really is to her fans and in the new Apple Music-exclusive video for her single “Whatever You Want” she takes fans all the way backstage, and into the backyard, for an intimate look at her personal life.

The clip opens with P!nk in the recording session for the song and then segues into a montage of the singer being playful backstage during tour rehearsals, some cute moments with her kids and a few stolen kisses with husband Carey Hart.

The clip is, really, an homage to their love story, featuring archival footage of his motorcross triumphs and her instantly legendary 2017 MTV VMAs speech honoring their daughter Willow.

And yes, because she’s P!nk she also includes that bit before she sang the National Anthem at this year’s Super Bowl where she spit out her cough drop, plus tons of aerial footage.

When Adele’s new video for “Hello” was released on Friday, Oct. 23, plenty of fans had the same question:

Why does she have a flip phone?

As emotional and poignant as the video is, some viewers couldn’t help but zero in on the outdated piece of technology — with jokes like “It’s not just Adele’s comeback.

It’s the flip phone’s comeback too” and “A flip phone, Adele? Explains the lack of tweets.”

Director Xavier Dolan has a simple explanation for his choice to use a flip phone in the visual treatment for the song, which is the first single from Adele’s upcoming album 25.

Adele’s ‘Hello‘ music video director: ‘She deserves it all’

“I could see the GIF’s on Twitter,” he tells the Los Angeles Times. “I’m like, ‘Guys, get over it. It doesn’t matter.’

But the real explanation is that I never like filming modern phones or cars.

They’re so implanted in our lives that when you see them in movies you’re reminded you’re in reality.”

“If you see an iPhone or a Toyota in a movie, they’re anti-narrative, they take you out of the story,” Dolan continues. “If I put an iPhone or a modern car in a movie it feels like I’m making a commercial.”

JLo looked stunning during her performance of ‘Feel The Light’ on ‘American Idol.’ Not only did she sound amazing, but her dress, which her costume designer EXCLUSIVELY told us was ‘special’ for many reasons, was like nothing we’ve ever seen before.

Sings ‘Feel The Light’ From ‘Home’
Jennifer first appeared on stage in a large white dress — which consisted of fabric, 20 feet in diameter — and it projected scenes from the movie, as well as some super cool special effects.

As JLo stood there and belted out every mesmerizing note, our eyes were transfixed on that dress — how fierce! Even Jennifer’s costume designer, Mariel Haenn, felt like it was something “special.”

“A lot of things made this dress special, particularly it’s an idea that we’ve had for a very long time that we were just waiting for the right time to execute it. The white dress on it’s own was an idea that Jennifer had for a performance, but then when we were working on the creatives for the Home music video, we talked about using the dress as a canvas to project stuff onto it, and incorporate the movie into her dress, which is something I’ve never seen before. It felt really special,” she told HollywoodLife.com.
