At the end of the day …. “Ellen and Usain …. “the furthest thing from who I am …. “!!

~~August 18, 2016~~

She ends each show with this phrase.

She celebrated her 2000th show not too long ago.

The studio where the show airs has been named for her.

Ellen doesn’t a mean bone in her body.

She’s real, sincere, kind, humanitarian.

She herself has experienced prejudice, bullying, rejection, discrimination, non-acceptance and many other negative human reactions for being who she is.

She’s under criticism for posting a photo-shopped picture of Usain Bolt and herself.

As usual, she did this in the spirit of good fun.

Usain himself re-tweeted the picture in question.

Anyone who interpreted that way it’s been interpreted has a twisted mind.

Stop picking a fight where there shouldn’t be one.

Comedienne and talk show host Ellen DeGeneres has been the subject of a fierce social media backlash after tweeting an edited picture of Usain Bolt at the Olympics that some have described as racist.

On Monday, August 15,  DeGeneres tweeted saying:

“This is how I’m running errands from now on.”

The image showed her riding on Bolt’s back.

“I am highly aware of the racism that exists in our country,” DeGeneres tweeted on Tuesday in response to criticisms.

“It is the furthest thing from who I am.”

The row centered on a photo of Bolt taken during a 100-meter semifinal on Sunday, August 14, in which the Jamaican sprinter appears to smile as he glances back towards his competitors in the race.

The image his gone viral in recent days, with many different versions of it created for comic effect and shared widely on social media.
