NO WORRIES

All is good.

It’s only for a few days.

I’m going away with Angelika, my oldest grand-daughter.

She’s on “fall break” this coming week.

We will be going up north.

I will keep an eye on interesting postings from bloggers I follow but won’t be able to post myself unless it’s something very simple.

No computer access up there.

But I will be back.

Sick Personal Computer …. Taking to Store Tomorrow!

COMPUTER ISSUES

Disconnecting from this grid

It’s been a while that my computer has been making this noise as if “the gears were stuck”.

A wise, computer savvy friend checked it this weekend & updated it to Windows 10. I used it today …. until now.

When I came over, the screen was totally dark. I tried basic steps. Turned it off & back on.

No response!

I called my friend, who has been researching on the “noise” and it seems it could be the hard drive.

I used it today until now.

Maybe it’s the best. All that’s been going on these last few days have kept me from blogging as usual.

Right now, I’m on my cell.

If you miss me, you know why.

I’ll take it to store tomorrow to have it checked out.

I’m surprised at how calm I am about this.

I want to make sure that pictures & documents can be recovered.

Could it be time to get a new one?

REMEMBERING THE FALLEN

Memorial Day is a federal holiday in the United States for remembering the people who died while serving in the country’s armed forces.

The holiday, which is observed every year on the last Monday of May.

SEVERAL DAYS OFF

There comes a time, in this hurried life we life, that the need to disconnect takes over.

Family life, personal life, emotional and spiritual life needs recharging.

I’ll be offline for a few days trying to do so .

You know how hard it is to stay away.

I may reblog some posts that may come my way.

I won’t be posting my usual one.

I assure you, I will be back.

Hoping, renovated ….

In the meantime, keep down the fort.

I'm originally from Puerto Rico. I was born in Santurce and raised in Rio Piedras. I currently live in Florida - since 1999. I have a doctorate degree in Medicine; completed in 1976. My Internal Medicine specialty was completed in 1979. Worked for Puerto Rico's health system until 1985. At this time, I'm happily retired after working for the federal government for almost 28yrs. I also worked for the government of Puerto Rico from 1979 through 1985 .... for a total of almost 40 years as a physician. I want to offer any knowledge that I have to anyone "out there" who is interested. My views are liberal in almost every sense. My knowledge is "eclectic" - a bit of everything. Music and reading are my passion. Blogging has also become a very interesting endeavor. Metaphysical topics attract me. I'm interested in news - reporting human issues like injustice, discrimination and abuse - the "wrongly" affected. My intention is to bring this knowledge to an understandable level and to help anyone in need. I'm open to questions and will answer them to the best of my ability. Currently working on an enterprise whose main mission will be to bring peoples of all walks of life together. To be one .... since we ALL are ONE!! The future looks bright and promising!!!
