The term was coined in a July 24, 1933, radio address by US President Franklin D. Roosevelt, although he was referring to the 100-day session of the 73rd United States Congress between March 9 and June 17, rather than the first 100 days of his administration.
Should auld acquaintance be forgot,

Should auld acquaintance be forgot,

~~Remembering Those We Lost in 2016~~
~~Published on Dec 29, 2016~~
At the end of this crazy year I wanted to do something special to celebrate the lives of those we’ve lost.
I wasn’t able to include everyone, of course, but I tried my best to include those who meant something to me.
In a press release from Oct. 17, Trump pledged to “drain the swamp in Washington, D.C.” He then tweeted:
“I will Make Our Government Honest Again – believe me.
But first, I’m going to have to #DrainTheSwamp.”
Since then, Trump and his supporters have punctuated tweet after tweet with the hashtag. What are they talking about?
Politicians have long colored calls to clean up government corruption with drain the swamp.
In 2006, newly elected Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi pledged to “drain the swamp” in Congress after 10 years of Republican control. After 9/11, Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld committed to “drain the swamp” of terrorism; the phrase was a favorite of Bush administration officials during the ensuing wars they launched in the Middle East. Earlier, in 1983, President Reagan described his chief mission as “draining the swamp” of big government.
I mean how do you bring such an insidious plan to fruition?. I imagine it takes some organizing .. a plan.
I foresee the only “effective” mechanism is rooted in history.
Trump will prepare enough cattle car trains to transport 11 million.
While he rounds up the 11 million, he will need a place to intern them; not enough prisons. Yes, I see camps as his only option. Otherwise how else will he ensure the deportation?
Before that he will need a special police force to drag them out of their homes to transport to central camps.
In summary, he needs
1) special cops
2) trains
3) camps
Sounds familiar?
The only difference is the cops will have DT on their shirt lapels instead of SS and the train cars will all be embossed with 24 caract gold lettering reading “TRUMP“.
Any doubt he has a Nazi mindset?
Wasn’t that vile man whose name began with an H a megalomaniac too?
Late at night,
gazing into a star strooned horizon,
I can hear my shattered heart beat.
It rings in my ears,
and echos all around me.
promises made so long ago,
their not but a distant memory.
words exchanged from the soul,
that now stand empty of meaning.
just like the void in my fading heart.
I can count the stars tonight
each one a lie i believed.
and now i see
i stand alone
with me myself and i
people come & people go
but ill always be right here
like a marble stone ….
The oath of allegiance is an oath of fidelity to the sovereign taken by all persons holding important public office and as a condition of naturalization.
We met Robert Bradley while shooting our first film, “Playing for Change: A Cinematic Discovery of Street Music.” Robert is originally from Detroit, Michigan, but we filmed this song in Los Angeles in front of a Playing For Change graffiti wall painted by a local artist. We had just finished a take of Robert singing “Playing For Change Blues,” a song we created while filming across America, and were beginning to interview him. All of a sudden he started speaking the lyrics to this song.
We immediately grabbed another mic for his guitar, plugged it directly into the camera and asked him to perform it for us. Enjoy!
