THE AVOCADO QUESTION
Is it ready? It is right? Can I open it?
Should I give it a few more days?
The avocado has become an important staple in the Puerto Rican diet.
It goes with any plate you may prepare.
The question always is: is it ripe?
Opening an avocado before it’s ready leads to doom.
You can’t use it then.
That’s why it’s a Puerto Rican problem!
LOL!

The avocado (Persea americana) is a tree that is native to South Central Mexico, classified as a member of the flowering plant family Lauraceae. Avocado (also alligator pear) additionally refers to the tree’s fruit, which is botanically a large berry containing a single seed.
