Another perfect example.

Sean Spicer, ‘Sycophant-In-Waiting’, doesn’t look professional at all.

I think, ‘you reap what you sow‘ is the perfect reality.

Humor is the only thing that will get us through this reality!

Melissa McCarthy made an unannounced appearance on Saturday Night Live to deliver an uncanny impression of Trump administration press secretary Sean Spicer.

In the eight-minute sketch, a nearly unrecognizable McCarthy perfectly captured the frosty, often acrimonious relationship between Spicer and the press, the secretary’s brash and confrontational manner, his odd phrasing and the circuitousness of his answers to direct questions.

“I know that the press and myself have gotten off to a rocky start, and when I say ‘rocky start,’ I mean it in the sense of Rocky the movie because I came out here to punch you,” “Spicer” yelled.

Secretary of Education nominee Betty DeVos, played by Kate McKinnon, was also introduced to field some simple questions. “I don’t know anything about school, but I do think there should be a school, probably Jesus school, and I think it should have walls and roof and gun for potential grizzly,” DeVos told the press.

Never in my lifetime have I seen such a negative response to the president of this country.

Could’ve happened before but either I wasn’t keeping tabs on happenings or I was too young.

Mockery becomes the new way to release feelings!!

Robert Reich threw out an idea to his nearly 1.7 million Facebook followers this week that has a lot of people asking: How do we make this happen?

In a Facebook post on Sunday, December 18, the former secretary of labor under President Bill Clinton noted the dearth of celebrities and musicians willing to participate in Donald Trump’s inauguration festivities.

Many supported Hillary Clinton.

So Reich is championing the idea that celebrities host an event of their own on Inauguration Day to give the official event, starring Trump, a run for the ratings.

“Someone just suggested to me a televised ‘freedom concert’ to air at the same time as the inauguration – with huge celebrities like Beyoncé and Jay Z, Madonna, Katy Perry, Justin Timberlake, Gaga, Bruce Springsteen, and so on,” Reich wrote.

“Alec Baldwin MC’s the event, playing Trump as he does on SNL.

“Presto.

The Trump inauguration loses all the TV ratings. Basically, no one watches it.”

Reich also suggested that such a concert could raise money for a variety of progressive causes, including “the ACLU, Planned Parenthood, Lambda Legal, NAACP, Common Cause, CAIR, IRAP, SPLC, Environmental Defense Fund, Human Rights Campaign Fund, MoveOn, Economic Policy Institute, Inequality Media, and GLAAD.”

His post inspired a Change.org petition that, as of Wednesday morning, had attracted nearly 44,000 signatures and dozens of supporters on Twitter.

~’SNL’ (again) roasts Donald Trump in cold open~

Donald Trump (again) is not happy about it

When he wasn’t blocking people on Twitter or defending himself for talking to Taiwan on the phone, President-elect Donald Trump took time out of his schedule last week to retweet a 16-year-old who went on a rant about alleged, but completely unproven voter fraud.

That was the impetus for SNL’s cold open on Saturday when, after RTing the 16-year-old who was tweeting from his high school classroom, Trump, played by Alec Baldwin, looked at the camera and said,

“I really did retweet him. Seriously. This is true.”

Said senior adviser Kellyanne Conway, played by Kate McKinnon, while also looking into the camera,

“He really did do this.”

Technically, an equinox is an astronomical point and, due to the fact that the earth wobbles on its axis slightly, the date may vary by a few days depending on the year. The autumnal equinox occurs when the sun crosses the equator on its apparent journey southward, and we experience a day and a night that are of equal duration. Up until Mabon, the hours of daylight have been greater than the hours from dusk to dawn. But from now on, the reverse holds true.

Mabon marks the middle of harvest, it is a time of equal day and equal night, and for the moment nature is in balance. It is a time to reap what you have sown, of giving thanks for the harvest and the bounty the Earth provides. For finishing up old projects and plans and planting the seeds for new enterprises or a change in lifestyle. Mabon is a time of celebration and balance.

This is the time to look back not just on the past year, but also your life, and to plan for the future. In the rhythm of the year, Mabon is a time of rest and celebration, after the hard work of gathering the crops. Warm autumn days are followed by chill nights, as the Old Sun God returns to the embrace of the Goddess.

The passing of Mabon is inevitable and The Sun God should be mourned. We too, must remember that all things must come to an end. So the Sun God journeys into the lands of winter and into the Goddess’ loving arms, but endings are a good time to celebrate our successes, thank our selves and those who helped us, and take part in the balance of life!
