P!nk Perfection Past

Let’s go back in time. Another huge hit.

The message is so clear and so appropriate to things that are happening in our midst sometimes without our knowledge. Let’s heed her message.

We are perfect just as we are! And the swear word fits perfectly!!

Fuckin’ Perfect” (written as F**kin’ Perfect on the album cover and in the iTunes Store) is a song by American recording artist P!nk, taken from her first greatest hits album Greatest Hits … So Far!! (2010).

It was released on December 14, 2010 by LaFace Records, JIVE Records, and RCA Records as the album’s second single. Written by P!nk with Max Martin and Shellback, the track is a pop number which encourages people to accept each other for their true identities.

Pink has stated that the main inspiration behind the track is her husband, Carey Hart. Its music video, directed by longtime collaborator Dave Meyers, delivers a message against depression, self-harm and suicide. In November 2011, the song garnered a Grammy Award nomination for Best Pop Solo Performance.

“Fuckin’ Perfect” peaked at number two on the Billboard Hot 100, becoming Pink’s eleventh top-ten hit single in the United States.

Yeah! Oh!
Oh, pretty, pretty, pretty

Pretty, pretty, please, don’t you ever, ever feel
Like you’re less than fucking perfect
Pretty, pretty, please, if you ever, ever feel
Like you’re nothing. You’re fucking perfect to me
You’re perfect, you’re perfect
Pretty, pretty, please, if you ever, ever feel
Like you’re nothing. You’re fucking perfect to me.

Drumpf Cabinet Meeting Turned into a Bizarre Ass-Kissing Contest

Never seen in my lifetime, and believe you me, there are a lot of things I’ve seen in my many years.

Talk about decorum, self-respect, dignity, values, self-esteem, honor, morality, gravity, stateliness … where did they go?

On Monday, June 12, Drumpf took a break from yelling on Twitter about how the “fake media” is against him and found another way to stroke his pathological need for affection.

During a televised cabinet meeting, he said he had done as much as any president from FDR, then asked the assembled crew of billionaires, retired generals, and arch-conservative politicians what they thought the administration’s accomplishments thus far had been.

It was an exercise in attempting to satiate Drumpf’s insatiable ego, and all the officials took the opportunity to kiss as much presidential ass as possible.

To start the day …. “Wisdom of Youth”!!

~~September 22, 2014~~

“In the 1950’s kids lost their innocence.
They were liberated from their parents by well-paying jobs, cars, and lyrics in music that gave rise to a new term — the generation gap.

In the 1960’s, kids lost their authority.
It was a decade of protest — church, state, and parents were all called into question and found wanting. Their authority was rejected, yet nothing ever replaced it.

In the 1970’s, kids lost their love. It was the decade of me-ism dominated by hyphenated words beginning with self.
Self-image, Self-esteem, Self-assertion …. It made for a lonely world. Kids learned everything there was to know about sex and forgot everything there was to know about love, and no one had the nerve to tell them there was a difference.

In the 1980’s, kids lost their hope.
Stripped of innocence, authority and love and plagued by the horror of a nuclear nightmare, large and growing numbers of this generation stopped believing in the future.

In the 1990’s kids lost their power to reason. Less and less were they taught the very basics of language, truth, and logic and they grew up with the irrationality of a postmodern world.

In the new millennium, kids woke up and found out that somewhere in the midst of all this change, they had lost their imagination. Violence and perversion entertained them till none could talk of killing innocents since none was innocent anymore.”
