ANOSOGNOSIA

Anosognosia, also called “lack of insight,” is a symptom of severe mental illness experienced by some that impairs a person’s ability to understand and perceive his or her illness. It is the single largest reason why people with schizophrenia or bipolar disorder refuse medications or do not seek treatment.

It is a deficit of self-awareness, a condition in which a person who suffers some disability seems unaware of the existence of their disability.

The NRA and morally corrupt Politicians refuse to recognize “gun violence” as a public health crisis and have fought every bill meant to curb the illegal gun market and keep the guns out of the hands of convicted felons, people convicted of domestic violence and people with a severe mental illness.
