Always had a soft spot for Andrea. There’s an addition now to his son Matteo.

What a beautiful coupling of voices.

Saw them perform last night in a late night show. When looking for the video and this is what I found.

Andrea Bocelli has been called “the fourth tenor”; the blind, Tuscan-born vocalist has emerged as one of the most popular voices in the arena of light classical and crossover vocals and has made inroads into the world of opera as well.

His participation in Pavarotti’s 1992 hit Miserere album and Zucchero Fornaciari’s 1993 world tour brought him international attention. Bocelli has been most successful as a pop ballad singer, having recorded duets with Celine Dion, Sarah Brightman, and Eros Ramazzotti.

THE ROYAL WEDDING

I was away from home on May 19, 2018.

I missed watching the royal wedding in real time. I managed to watch parts of it. I saw the Queen arrive, I saw Meghan and Doria arrive. I saw the ceremony, the choir (Stand By Me), the viola player.

My personal tradition has been to get up early and watch every bit of it.

I do have it recorded.

On Monday 27 November 2017 The Prince of Wales announced the engagement of his son Prince Harry to Ms. Meghan Markle.

The wedding took place at St George’s Chapel, Windsor on Saturday 19 May.

The service began at St. George’s Chapel at midday and was conducted by the Dean of Windsor, The Rt Revd. David Conner. The Most Revd. and Rt Hon. Justin Welby, Archbishop of Canterbury, officiated as the couple made their marriage vows.

P!nk has long been an open book. The high-flying pop star has never shied away from exposing who she really is to her fans and in the new Apple Music-exclusive video for her single “Whatever You Want” she takes fans all the way backstage, and into the backyard, for an intimate look at her personal life.

The clip opens with P!nk in the recording session for the song and then segues into a montage of the singer being playful backstage during tour rehearsals, some cute moments with her kids and a few stolen kisses with husband Carey Hart.

The clip is, really, an homage to their love story, featuring archival footage of his motorcross triumphs and her instantly legendary 2017 MTV VMAs speech honoring their daughter Willow.

And yes, because she’s P!nk she also includes that bit before she sang the National Anthem at this year’s Super Bowl where she spit out her cough drop, plus tons of aerial footage.

Drumpf Jr. agreed to take a meeting during the 2016 presidential campaign with a woman he was told was a “Russian government attorney” who could provide damaging information about Hillary Clinton as part of “Russia and its government’s support” for his father’s presidential campaign, according to emails tweeted by the president’s son on Tuesday, July 11.

The email exchange showed clearly that Drumpg Jr. understood he was taking the meeting as a way of channeling information directly from the government of a nation hostile to the United States to his father’s campaign.

It is the most concrete public evidence to date suggesting that top Drumpf campaign aides were eager for Russia’s assistance in the campaign.

“If it’s what you say I love it,”

Trump Jr. responded to an intermediary pitching the meeting.

That big bad dude was 40-year-old Terence Crutcher – a man who raised his hands high above his head in submission before he was shot to death Friday by police in Oklahoma – and those are the words of his twin sister Tiffany, who is now left to plan his funeral service.

In all, a total of four officers and a helicopter responded to reports of an abandoned vehicle blocking the road. One of them pointed a Taser at Crutcher, but it was Tulsa police officer Betty Shelby, the first to arrive on the scene, who fired the single shot.

She pulled the trigger mere seconds after a second squad car arrived, killing the father of four.

For her part, Shelby claimed the victim was reaching into a passenger-side window of her car and that she, an armed officer of the law surrounded by three others and backed up by a police chopper, felt threatened.

THE STORY BEHIND IT

Among the hundreds of people were waiting to visit with Mahatma Gandhi were a mother and her young son. When it was their turn, the woman asked Gandhi to speak with her son about eating sugar.

Gandhi asked her to come back in two weeks and said he would talk to the boy then.

She wondered why he didn’t just speak to her son when he was already there, but she complied with his request.

In two weeks they returned, and after waiting for a couple of hours, she was able to approach Gandhi once again.

Hearing her repeated request, Gandhi immediately spoke with the boy, who agreed to begin working to eliminate sweets.

After thanking Gandhi for his wise and compassionate words, the mother asked him why he wanted them to return instead of offering his advice the first time.

Gandhi replied, “Upon your visit two weeks ago I too was eating sugar.”

He explained that he could not speak of or teach her son to not eat sugar if he himself had not taken that journey.

Ending the day with a strong, inspiring musical piece blending two styles: classic and rock.

The Piano Guys are an American musical group consisting of Jon Schmidt, Steven Sharp Nelson, Paul Anderson, and Al van der Beek. They gained popularity through YouTube, where they posted piano and cello renditions of popular songs and classical music. Schmidt and Nelson’s music is accompanied by professional-quality videos shot and edited by Paul Anderson and formerly by Tel Stewart.

Jon Schmidt is perhaps one of the most relevant pianists of our time. This is a brilliant adaptation of Rachmaninoff. Another impressive work from The Piano Guys.
